PETER IS THE BEST to work with! My wife Ada and I wanted an elegant intimate wedding reception and Peter really went above and beyond to make our vision come to life. Peter took care of every detail and made the entire event planning process so easy. This venue is perfect for any event. The food was amazing, staff was on point, ambiance was beautiful. Thank you so much Peter for everything.

2024 July 4★ Location wise, wouldn't expect this place to be here.. it's is like it's on its own island. Lots of parking though. Step inside this fashionably old building and it's a decent atmosphere. Clean and classic. House salad $12 Organic greens, shredded carrots and beets. House dressing. Not bad. Filet Mignon 10 oz. $64 Center cut beef tenderloin, wrapped in bacon and broiled. Served with side of vegetables and choice of potato. Pistachio gelato. Pistachio gelato with some coffee like portions that included pistachio bits on top. Pretty good. Would recommend. Food was good. Service itself was good. Not cheap though.

Food was tasty, the French onion soup was my favourite. Service was great! Loved the atmosphere, we were hosted well and nothing to complain - also service was so fast !

Local restaurant in Markham and took me 37 years to finally trying this place! Located in a historic building. We went early so it was a bit quieter but got busier as the night went on. Food and service was great! Taste was good but presentation could have been a bit better. It was my wife’s bday and they provided a complimentary cake which was a nice touch! Probably a generous 5.0 rating but 4.5 is well earned!

I had a wonderful birthday celebration at The School Fine Dining! The experience was top-notch. We ordered the fried calamari, served piping hot with a delightfully crisp batter, and a perfectly seared medium rare rib steak seasoned to perfection. The School never disappoints with its top-quality meats and ingredients. To end the night on a sweet note, we savoured a piece of their luscious tiramisu. What truly elevated the experience was the beautiful and classy environment. The warm ambiance, accentuated by a cozy fireplace, added a touch of elegance to our dining experience. Our server, Tony, was incredibly attentive, kind, and served us with a welcoming smile throughout the evening. I can't wait to return for another memorable meal!

I have to say, this was hands down the best restaurant experience I've ever had in the GTA. I didn't have a single complaint. The food? Absolutely amazing! 👏🏾 The service? Exceptional. And let me tell you about that Caesar salad – it was so good that I actually wanted to lick the plate! I never thought I'd get that excited about a salad. And the steak? Superb. This is the epitome of fine dining. If I could, I'd give them six stars. Great job to Nic and the whole staff. Keep up the excellent work, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. 😋👌

Event planner Peter and his staff at The School were incredible to say the least. Friendly, courteous, and eager to make it a special day. The food was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The ambiance was magical. A magnificent experience for a family wedding or any occasion or even just to dine in for a small group or for two. Would definitely come back anytime! Thank you!!!
