The Royal Windsor Pub & Eatery

The food was good. Ordered through Uber eats. Lots of food for the price. And a lot of variety of items to choose from including vegetarian options. I didn’t enjoy the potato skins as there were cut up peppers in them which didn’t make sense to me. That was a personal preference but other than that the food and delivery service was good.

Enjoyed a nice lunch with friends. Very comfortable atmosphere, great food, and great service. I can hardly wait to go again.

I had been here 8 years ago and stopped because of poor service and food, but thought I would try it again since it is still around and I live about 1 km from the place. The service was very slow and got three of the 5 orders wrong. The appetizers came with the main meals, but they ended up not charging for them in the end. I had to get up to see where our food was since it took about 30 minutes to be delivered. On the plus side, the beer was cold and the food was acceptable. Since there are a lot of better places in the neighbourhood to go, I will probably give it another 8 years before a return visit.

Plaza was quite busy and made parking hard to find. Prime Burger was obviously brought in frozen, didn’t taste good. Always judge a place by how clean its public areas are. If they can’t keep them clean, do they keep the kitchen clean?! The bathroom has ceiling tiles water stained and dry, so not a fresh make. There is also quite the dust build up on vent. I think there is work to be done here.

We just went for a decaf coffee and desert before listening to a Yancey talk at Clearview church just around the corner. The coffee was fresh and okay and the triple chocolate cake we shared was very good.

Great place to enjoy a quick lunch if your in the area. I always order the Butter Chicken if I happen to see it on the menu, So I have some experience with this dish. The main course came out in quick time, hot of the stove and pleasing to the eye. This was a beutiful, sweet sauce ( I usually order ghe sauce, extra hot but I forgot) with fresh grilled Naan. I enjoued this meal with a refreshing Creemore springs Lager, which was one of many local beers on tap. Over all it was a great experience and I would come again. Of course the excellent wait staff was very personable and added to the plesent environment. Remember, dont forget to tip your server, Cheers.

Nice clean pub/restaurant. Large menu with decent prices. Service was very good. Food was very nice. Had half chicken with greek salad and substituted fries for rice. Others had souvlaki and a burger and were happy. We’ve been back many times and are always happy with our visit. We just went last evening Thursday and had the burger special. It’s still the best burger deal I know of. Excellent 6 ounce burger topped with lettuce, tomato, cheese, bacon and dill pickle, accompanied by 4-5 onion rings and a generous portion of hand cut fries. It never fails to please.
