Despite inquiring about reservations in advance, we ended up roaming around like nomads! For New Year’s Eve, we were told that reservations weren’t being accepted, yet the waitresses rudely pointed out every table as ‘reserved.’ Even tables without a reservation symbol were occupied, and when we requested an extra chair, it was denied with a flimsy excuse. I believe dining at a restaurant staffed entirely by white waitresses may not be an ideal experience for people of color. So, if you’re one of us, think twice before visiting if you want a truly enjoyable time. Happy New Year!

Servers and staff at roses and crown are rude and disrespectful. Seems like they did not even want us at their restaurant. They acted as if they did not notice us when we walked in, which is hardly possible at this restaurant as it is wide open and has a clear view for the servers and bartenders, however, when we sat down, not only did they notice that, but they had the audacity to have us removed from a table that did not have a reserved sign. Keep in mind, the ones that were reserved had a sign on them. We did not sit on a reserved seat. Take a note brown people, we are not accepted in this restaurant. It’s their loss though, dollar bills don’t have a race.

Racism against indians on its peak here. We called them in late afternoon to inquire if we need reservation and they said its walk in! We reached there around 8pm and the host asked to find our own table for five. Most of the table had reserved tag! We found one table (for 6) without the tag so we sat there and server informs us we cannot use that table either as apparently that too was RESERVED. We didn't think much of it and moved to a smaller table for four and requested to add a chair, she denied very rudely saying she needs that space to walk. The table was next to a wall and there was literally no other table without reserved tag and no staff offered to help or attempted to accommodate. We foolishly walked around the whole place few times trying to look for an available table. Everybody from servers to guest were white so I cannot think of any other reason than passive racism by staff here. They could have simply told us that they don't have capacity or to wait outside for an available table!!

We saw Rachel and Ayden. Awesome band we had stage front seats that started out awesome then people came and stood in front of you almost on top of you literally. It's busy but nobody needs an ass in their face. A foot or two of distance would have been nice. Great time would go back different table.

The Rose and Crown – A True Gem Among Bars! I recently visited *The Rose and Crown* and was absolutely charmed by the entire experience. From the warm, inviting ambiance to the impeccable service, everything here is done right! The decor has that perfect blend of rustic charm and contemporary comfort, creating an ideal setting for any occasion, whether you're out with friends or on a date night. The menu offers a delightful variety of food and drinks, all within a reasonable $20-$30 range. I tried the fish and chips and a local craft beer, and both were exceptional – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The bartender also recommended a house cocktail, which quickly became my new favorite! What really sets *The Rose and Crown* apart is the staff. They’re friendly, attentive, and genuinely seem to care about providing a great experience. Despite the busy evening, our server was quick with refills and made fantastic menu suggestions, elevating our visit even further. With a solid 4.2 rating from over a thousand patrons, it’s clear that this place has earned its reputation. If you're looking for a memorable night out with great food, drinks, and service, *The Rose and Crown* won’t disappoint. Highly recommended!

Y&E cornerstone - casual, conveniently located with decent food. I liked the option for half salad/half fries. It's a good place to meet a few friends for a couple of drinks without any pretense. The patio on the street provides an interesting opportunity to people watch and interact with passerby if that is your thing... Large events often charge cover, nights with live music often get quite busy too.

This bar has a laid-back vibe, and some regular guests live nearby. They have live music every Friday and Saturday and karaoke regularly on Sundays. (This information I got when I was at the bar, they seem to update the website rarely) We visited this bar for the first time and ordered some beers and food. I got their R&C salad with chicken, and my partner ordered a Reuben sandwich with fries. Their fries and sandwiches were delicious, and the salad was average, but I loved the chicken. Their beer was a little expensive, which was about $10 per pint for the okay beer. (Bud, Coors, Keith's etc.) We came on Wednesday, and there was no happy hour deal after asking. The whole bar was deserted as there was no event on Wednesday. By the way, their service was excellent. She was patient and friendly. We will probably go back again on Friday or Saturday.
