Let me begin by saying I love this place , I truly do. Been a patron since 2007. Service , atmosphere and food , variety and choice of drinks , always top notch. Unfortunately , there's but this time and it has to do with my choice of food this time. I usually take the same thing fish&chips or burgers. If it ain't broken don't try to fix it . Well this time around I did and I shouldn't of had. On the menu there's a Steak and ale Pie, let me put the emphasis on the word pie and it's actual definition. A"pie is a baked dish which is usually made of a pastry dough casing that contains a filling of various sweet or savoury ingredients" Now while what I had was at best okay, it surely wasn't a pie! More like a ceramic bowl with beef stew in it and some sort of flaky dough that was dropped on top. To say the least it was a big disappointment and a warning to stick with what I usually take. I get that making individual pies can be very time consuming, but if thats not what you're planning to offer please don't call it a pie! Maybe just call it steak and ale stew, topped with a flaky crusty, that would be more exact! Finally, for 22.99 I was expecting a real pie! Besides that anomaly everything else is fine at Queens Head, just stay away from the stew....... sorry pie.:) I'm scoring 3 stars for the food , because of what i had last night . Other than that , the food does deserve at the very least 4 stars for sure . i'll be back but not for the Steak and Ale pie , no way!

It was the most British pub I've been in since I left London 35 years ago. London pride on draught, Irish beers, English cider, and really friendly staff. Didn't try the food but good menu and the people I saw eating were enjoying their food. Founded around 1990, it has the look and feel of a British pub from the late 1800s. Nice

Old school English pub. Great decor. Very authentic atmosphere. Service was great(although wasn't busy) but regardless all were friendly and attentive. Wait staff answered all our questions and made suggestions. Ended up with the Fish and chips and house burger. The fish was the best I've ever had at a pub. The fish was so light and melted in my mouth. The burger was cooked perfectly and was flavourful. Steak fries were ok but a good pairing with the fish. Overall a great experience and we would return

After an afternoon walk around Downtown Oakville, we were looking for a place to chill out of the scorching heat. Found this British sports bar which was located in one of the side streets. Once inside, we felt so cool and relieved. It has huge TV screens around and lots of comfortable seats. Customer service is efficient and drinks were brought out to quench our thirst. The food we had was great. Portions are huge too.

The Queens Head is a fantastic local pub that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to grab a pint and a bite to eat. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy interior and friendly staff that make you feel right at home. The menu is full of delicious options, with something for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for classic pub fare like fish and chips or a juicy burger, or something a bit more upscale like the steak or the grilled salmon, you're sure to find something that will satisfy your cravings. One of the things I love about The Queens Head is that the food is always reliably delicious. I've been here several times and have never been disappointed with my meal. The ingredients are fresh and the dishes are expertly prepared, making every bite a true pleasure. Of course, no trip to The Queens Head would be complete without sampling some of their excellent beers. They have a great selection on tap, with both local and international brews to choose from. Whether you prefer a light ale or a dark stout, you'll find something to your liking here. All in all, I can't recommend The Queens Head enough. It's a great place to unwind with friends, enjoy some great food and drinks, and soak up the local atmosphere. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by and check it out for yourself!

A British style pub with a great menu and good beers. Efficient and friendly staff, too. We sat comfortably in the patio and had an enjoyable lunch with beer. Will go there again.
