Great food, big portions! Amazing service. The server gave our son crayons and a kids menu to colour on, kept him busy! Super friendly and helpful when customizing my order. Lots of daily specials and home made soups. I got the chicken schnitzel dinner special, my wife got the lasagna with ceaser salad. Food came out very quick and was delicious. Highly recommend! We will be back!

First of all, it’s a family owned cozy with patio restaurant including breakfast. I came for breakfast. The food here was just to perfection. I ordered the steak and Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was creamy and smooth, very refreshing and not oily at all. The steak was done to my want of rareness and tender. The eggs were alittle over done in terms of a Benedict but here’s the thing, their service was above and beyond. I did not complain at all nor mention about it but our waiter (tall handsome refreshing looking guy) was attentive and caring and came by offering to remake an entire additional order of fresh poached eggs for me without hesitation! He said he noticed the eggs were not smothering like it should be when I cutted them. The remake order which came was fresh and done to perfection. It’s the heart that counts. Even the lady (who looks like one of the owners) beside the bar counter smiled to us and mentioned very kindly to us to always let them know if anything was off. Every dish that came out of the kitchen seemed insanely appetizing, hot, and fresh. This great service from both sides of their restaurant was just heart warming to start off my day. They stand by their quality and service and I would definitely come back for more good food and their friendly service. This is a rare find and all this was on a busy Saturday morning at 11:30AM.

Fantastic place! Was recommended by family so I took my mother there for her birthday yesterday. Portions are amazing, food tastes wonderful. My only negative would be lack of fountain drinks/refills, but this wouldn't sway me from going back. Photo: The Quarry Burger.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently dined at The Quarry Cafe and ordered their Eggs Lorraine (peameal egg benedict with cheddar cheese). While the home fries were average, the overall experience was quite pleasant. The food was decent, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. It's a great spot for a satisfying meal without any fuss.

Classic diner, family owned and operated. Everything from taste, portion to service is just great. The place is a frequent staple for locals and I've been here twice since discovering them recently. It's now a staple breakfast spot for me too. Ive had their classic breakfast items so far but seeing the other items being ordered at other tables, I don't doubt that everything on the menu will be tasty - I can't wait to work my through the entire menu!

My sisters and I got Belgian Waffles. We did not think they were spectacular but eatable. We also got a side of home fries and avocado. The avocado was perfect. The home fries were too mushy for our taste. The service was okay. Our waiter never stopped by after we ordered and received our food until the end. The green tea was very good though!

Absolutely loved this place. I would recommend it to everyone. We ordered the eggs Benedict and another dish to that I don't remember the name. It is one of the best breakfasts I've had in Toronto. It had perfect proportions of everything. I choose avocado instead of bacon, and man, that was a good choice! Love love the breakfast here. Their fresh orange juice was also nice. The pancakes were not that great, slightly bland but they were definitely not bad. The servers are also nice and friendly.

I came here once before it was renovated/changed and was very unimpressed. It's come a long way since then! Brunch on the patio was great. It's a very inviting space that actually reminded me of holidays in the subtropics. (Thanks in part to the patio being covered in beautiful tropical plants and the summer day being hot and humid.) The food was decent. Nothing spectacular but to find a decent breakfast in this area that isn't a chain like Eggsmart, and without a line up on weekend brunch, it's a gift. I asked for medium eggs and got them pretty hard (and the vinegar from the poaching was really strong) but otherwise an okay meal. The cappuccino was very good too. Our server was lovely and friendly and food came quickly. Patio is spaced nicely so it's not too crowded that you feel too close to others, but not so far apart that it feels empty. Prices are reasonable and honestly, I would come back here for a weekend breakfast again.
