The Portuguese Chicken Guys

Food is good. Portions are small, be aware of container sizes. Added on extras to the family meal and paid $13 for coleslaw and beans. The containers were only enough for one person.

This place is hard to find. They need a bigger sign! …maybe add some lights outside? The food was good; Service was pretty average; The price, compared to other places, is high, It’s take-out only at this location but there’s a 4 seater bench outside. Overall, I would recommend this place for its whole chicken, rice, potatoes and steamed veggies meal. The hot sauce is good too!

Take out only... although there is a picnic table outside of the weather is decent. Looks clean inside and service was friendly. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy. We ordered two family meals, with double order of rice and order of potatoes. Chicken - was very tender and tasty. The chicken was the best part of the meal. Rice- traditional with carrots and peas. Decent. It was a bit bland but not bad at all. Sauce- good but for a family pack we got 2 tiny containers of sauce, and bought more for $2 which is ridiculous... considering it's needed for the chicken, rice and potatoes for flavour. Most places give you enough sauce to accompany your meal. Potatoes- the potatoes were raw. At least 50% of both containers of potatoes were raw. We salvaged them by air frying them at home. But I was surprised to find that many potatoes hard and raw inside. I tried calling them to tell them about the potatoes a couple of times but nobody answered. They did text me though and send a special for the week. :( Overall, the chicken was good but I wouldn't come back again. The food was not equivalent to the competition.

Came in on a work day for lunch and am very happy. The man working here is SO nice and so helpful. The chicken sandwiches are delicious and so fresh! The hot sauce is made in house and pretty friggin great. 100% will be comin back

Best Portuguese food you can get in the city! Catered food for 50 people and it was amazing. Portuguese Chicken Guys and Andrew took the stress out of everything! Everything we agreed on was met. The food we ordered rice chicken and potatoes. Everyone got second and third serving! Would definitely cater with Portuguese chicken guys again.

Pickup order for the $35 family dinner special. Email notification sent out for the pickup. Everything was stapled so assumed everything was in the bag. However when I got home we were missing the 4 desserts. Essentially we didn't get what we paid for. The food was hot although there should be a cardboard or another material so that the coleslaw and salad to remain cold or neutral instead of hot. The chicken and potatoes was well spiced and full of flavor and the mild sauce went well with the food. The salad dressing was lacking due to the salad portion size.

Very good, moist chicken. Fries were not bad and coleslaw was pretty good. These cod fish croquettes were amazing. The pecan butter tart down by look great but tasted great. This was ordered through uber eats.

Super inconsistent. Last time i ordered it was great. Chicken was moist, rice had carrots and peas, and coleslaw was good. I received the exact opposite today. Chicken was VERY dry, rice was just rice ($7.00 for a single serving small box of just rice is steep...) and the coleslaw had barely any dressing.
