Our server Lorenzo was extremely nice. The food came out quickly and was good. The other servers were talking the whole time and it was hard to get their attention

Food was tasty but poutine portion is small. Had to seat ourselves, waitress was indifferent and bordered on rude, didn’t give us enough menus, put jug of water on table with plastic cups had to serve ourselves,. No cutlery. No condiments for burger, burger was barely warm. Waitress never asked if we needed anything. Waited ++ for the bill. Won’t eat here again.

Food was good, my partner got tacos, dad got wings, and I got the handmade chips, all were actually pretty good for rink food. Was pretty cool to be able to sit in a toasty place, eat food and also see into one of the rinks. My bone to pick is the service. Absolutely horrendous. Our waitress looked like she’d rather be sticking bamboo shoots up her nails than service us, she’d never ever heard of “service with a smile”, or if she had, she said “nope” to that. Besides putting plates of food on our table, she did nothing. Didn’t check on us, not once, we had to go find her or go to the bar if we wanted more water, and when we asked for a napkin because one of the waters spilled, she left to the back and just never came back so we had to figure out that mess ourselves. We thought maybe we’d be regulars for the convenience but after the terrible service, we’ll just eat before we come here.

The Penalty Box is a pretty good spot at the Scotiabank Pond Arena to have a drink and some pub grub. nothing fancy, but decent food and cold beer. Their fries are coated like KFC did back in the day. The staff is a bit quirky but you can chill near the windows and watch the game while having a pint.

Service here is terrible. I came in between periods for a beer. It really bothered the waitress that she had to serve anyone. So after 10 minutes, I had to leave. Came in the next period, at 9:15, to be told they were closed. The only time the waitress moved quickly was to lock the door

First time I came here… The arena Sir at the entrance was very nice and informatif. My son had his drink in hands. I didn’t notice. A old lady with the long greyish hairs start to yell at me!!! And very rudely. “That’s the policy no drink inside the restaurant” I didn’t had the time to read anything or put my feet in the place yet. I said we won’t drink it! I come for a meal. Still yelling at me. “Your not allowed!!” Right away the nice guy said “I can hold it for you” I give him ours drink and she still continuing yelling at us:” you should not arguing with me that’s the policy” Got back my drink and tell her my tips is to good for you!” She yell back “you do not have to be rude and impolite.” I understand now why the place was empty!

A sports bar in GTHL hotbed arena. The food is good the beer is cold. Lots is seating. The coffee is surprisingly good. A great place to kill time before a game or catch on on pad 1.

Here for a hockey tournament so it’s busy but I got my drinks and food quickly. Typical pub fare and tasted good. Nice spot to hang out with the parents as kids get ready. You can also watch hockey on one of the rinks from here.
