Lovely little restaurant with a very nice soothing ambience. The seating arrangements made us remember our time in Japan. The noodles were well cooked and the broth is super delicious. It took a little longer to get the set meal to be served, but that’s because everything was prepared on the spot and right in front of you; it was well worth the wait. Very delicious food, and not oily at all.

It is a very tiny fast grab and go ramen place but they do have four small tables and a few bar table seats there for you to dine in. Their menu varieties are limited, a few combo rice sets, some appetizers and majority are noodles. If you want to order a noodles and a snack, you can try their set menu for a greater value. You can choose one main course, one side dish from their meni and the set comes with an authentic ramune pop.

Came with some friends on a Friday night because we’ve seeing some hype about this place! It’s a compact space so make sure to come a bit earlier to get a spot. Thankfully we didn’t have much trouble getting a table for the 3 of us. We each ordered the special combo, which included a ramen, side, and drink. The price of $20 for the combo was quite attractive for all the food we would get. I had the spicy miso ramen paired with chicken karaage. The pork belly was very tender. The soft boiled egg had a runny yolk which complemented the mix of flavours from the noodles, bok choy, corn, fungus, and pork. I would say though that I would have preferred that the broth be a richer in miso and spicier. The chicken karaage was a highlight - so juicy and flavourful. My friends ordered the roasted garlic ramen and pork shio ramen. This was a nice spot to get a quick fix of ramen in Markham!

Very good ambience and great tasting food. Portions seem small but are quite filling! Overall the space is small but very comfortable. Also super juicy Katsu definitely recommend!

We came here as a group of five. It took around 10-15 minutes for the food to arrive from the time of ordering. Very nice service, we sat on the highchairs which allowed viewing of the food prep. They do constant water refills and the food was hot and delicious. Very good.

I recently visited North Japanese Noodle Bar in Markham, and it was an incredible experience! The ramen was delicious with perfectly cooked noodles. We also tried the fried chicken, and it was crispy outside , juicy inside, and seasoned to perfection. The service was warm and friendly. If you're looking for a cozy spot with amazing ramen and tasty fried chicken, this place is for you.

Small and cozy hidden gem for great eats. Love their salmon aburi, got a great torch and texture and is full of umami. The salmon is not too dry and goes well with the rice. Ramen is also great, liked their pork broth and toppings that comes with the ramen. I’m a fan of torched food so I would’ve liked if they torched their chicken chashu. The soba was also on promotion for a certain period but the texture wasn’t to my preference. Felt like the soba was very soft that it broke almost instantly and did not have much flavour. The dipping sauce was very light so it didn’t feel like it was much of a sauce. I’d recommend sticking with their permanent menu. However, the workers were very nice and friendly! Come try out ~

This place took me by surprise. Their food is amazing and the staff are very friendly. We dined in near closing time and there we absolutely no rush to us. The location is cool and clean and we received our food promptly. I would definitely come here again!
