The Morning After

Recently visited and had an enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and the food was truly satisfying. The service was attentive and efficient, which added to the overall positive vibe of the restaurant. The only downside was the hour-long wait for a table, which, while frustrating at first, turned out to be worth it. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, leaving me impressed and eager to try more from their menu in the future. Despite the initial delay, I would happily recommend The Morning After to anyone looking for good food and great service in Toronto. If you don’t mind a bit of a wait, it’s definitely worth checking out! #Endorsed

OMG we loved our experience and food at The Morning After! The Red Velvet Pancakes and Bacon are amazing. Amna was the best waitress, ask for her! The staff was accommodating and polite. It passes all the vibe test, and the music is fun! I will come back for sure!

Overall this was a great place to eat. There were several different options. I had the eggs Benedict with bacon. My lady had the lobster Benedict. She ended up not liking the amount of “spice” in it so I kindly switched meals. I did not like the lobster at all, but my original Benedict was great. The potatoes were cooked perfectly. We also ordered the mimosa carousel. Those were very good & also a great value for what you get. Very good service by the server & the gentleman working there.

First time coming to this place. The atmosphere is great, very high energy, with uplifting music, and the food was amazing. They have specialty mimosas, and a lot of different brunch options that you wouldn’t find at other breakfast joints. The service here was fantastic. Our server, Luz, took care of us and ensured our experience was a great one. I highly recommend.

We came here for a brunch on a Saturday at around 10am. Place was full but we were able to get an inside table after just a few minutes. We order: - Guilty Conscience: delicious sandwich with smoked meat, cheese and sunny side egg served with fries and house salad. Tasty and big portion size. - B2 Benny: 2 poached eggs with bacon with fries and house salad. Very tasty, crispy bacon and perfect eggs - Woke up to Benny: 2 poached eggs with smoked salmon with fires and house salad. Taste was ok, not my favorite. Coffee and cinnamon latte were very good! Unfortunately the negative was the service. We got our food quick, but it took forever to get our drinks. When I gently asked the server she was so rude to me saying she was not the one who prepare the drinks and asked if we want to cancel(?!) please be more kind with your customers! Prices are higher than regular but it’s worth if you just come once in a while. Overall a great experience!

I was super excited to try this place for ages. however my experience was disappointing. I ordered the red velvet waffles which for $18 it was a small portion size with a minuscule amount of fruits on top. the pancakes themselves were quite fluffy but they were super bland and didn’t taste like anything. the only good things about the lattes were that they were pretty, other than that they tasted just like a latte you could make at home. Our server took our order and then came back 15 minutes later saying that she was done for the “evening” (it was 10am), and so we had to repeat our order to the new server. the menus are on QR codes which i personally find really cheap. in a positive light my boyfriend enjoyed his meal, and said it tasted really good. I’m not usually one to complain about a restaurant however this was just really disappointing because it was somewhere i was so excited to go to for over 2 years. Anywho, i think the idea is great but the execution was really poor

My experience here was fantastic! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The ‘Wake and Steak’ was a standout for me—I never imagined that combination would taste so good, but it was honestly amazing! Highly recommend!

The food here is amazing. They have the best chicken and waffles I have ever tasted and the eggs benedict... delicious!! We tried the mimosas, the "mean girl" one was the best one (recommended by our server). The atmosphere was cute inside and outside. The patio is where we sat, but there were a lot of bees. Our server was very attentive and even tried to shoe away the bees from me. I definitely recommend this place and would come here again.
