The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Oakville

We go frequently to this Keg Oakville location. Food is excellent. Most importantly, this is a safe place for gluten-free eaters. My celiac partner has never gotten sick after eating here. Just make sure you discuss allergies with waiters. Service can be a bit slow on busy nights, but food is worth it. The Billy Minor ice cream cake is an all-time favorite dessert of mine.

Always top notch service at The Keg Oakville. Truly the best of the best. On this night we had top flight Margaritas hand-crafted by the amazing Mercedes along with other drinks and snacks. Thank you to the staff for an amazing night. Perfect all around. 🤩

We live nearby so we used to go there pretty regularly, however from now on we will not be visiting again. Food was decent but nothing else were. we did not get water or a chance to order until being seated for almost 15 minutes. When paying, we tipped 10%, the waiter said "you kidding me?!" while looking at the machine, slapped the receipt on our table and walked away, ZERO thank you, ZERO appreciation. If this kind of entitlement and "service" is what you give to your customers, then it's better for customers to spend their money elsewhere.

As with many restaurants these days, lighting is very low. Might need to use your phone flashlight to see the menu if you have bad eyes. The free bread was delicious and the server gave us two types of butter. Can’t remember if it was garlic butter, but the one that wasn’t the regular butter tasted much better. We had the Gruyère Mushroom Dip and Scallops & Bacon for appetizer. Both tasted phenomenal. Had the Sirloin & Lobster. Steak was cooked well to specifications. Lobster was tasty, butter was pretty salty and slightly warm. The amount of vegetables is on the small size, but overall, our hunger was satisfied.

Went for my wife's birthday. I had their lobster roll while she had steak. She loved her steak but my lobster roll was tiny. The service was decent.

We were served by samual and he was just the most wonderful joy. He was very knowledgeable about the menu. We had a few questions and he was able to answer each one. It was busy and still made sure to keep checking on our table to make sure we were enjoying each part of our meal from start to end. I recommend if anyone is thinking of coming please make a reservation and ask for samual as your server.

We were at The Keg to celebrate a special occasion, and even though we are not steak people, it was still so amazing. The cocktails were absolutely smashing, the blackened chicken, and Gruyere mushroom were delicious. And that pull apart bread was the freshest bread ever. The kids' meals were also great, they also got a tiny appetizer tray of assorted veges and crackers as they were waiting for their food. These small touches made it even better. Our server was cheerful and funny and made it such a pleasant time overall. Finally, the celebratory meal was complete with the mile high chocolate cake, which hit the sweet spot perfectly!

Had a fantastic time celebrating a special birthday dinner! Kirk was absolutely such a delightful server who took care of all our needs and just super polite as well.
