The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Mansion

Although it’s part of a franchise, the mansion setting really enhances the overall atmosphere of The Keg. The food was great, though the side vegetables with the steak were just okay. If you're looking for a reasonably priced steak with excellent service, I’d recommend this place. The staff is friendly and accommodating, though they seem a bit overwhelmed, especially during the holidays. I would definitely return for future events and parties!

Such a wonderful experience! I celebrated my birthday here, and it was truly an amazing time. The mansion was absolutely beautiful, and we really enjoyed dining in such a lovely setting. We started with Caesar salads, which were fresh and delicious. For the main course, we ordered the top sirloin, which was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the seasonal vegetable on the side—it came with beets, which weren’t to my taste. The service was outstanding. Our server, Miguel, provided incredible service—he was kind, attentive, and very professional, which made the experience even more special. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’d highly recommend it for a special occasion!

My wife and I held our wedding reception at the Mansion, and everything was perfect. The service was fast and friendly, our private room was set up exactly how we wanted it, and the food and drinks were top-notch as usual. The staff even allowed our extra-excited guests in early to get the party started (thanks again for that!). Highly recommend the Mansion if you want to have a get-together with friends or a small party, as they do a great job all around.

The Keg is a staple when you want a steak in Toronto. Service here is always good, and the food is very dependable and consistent. We were situated downstairs as we had a good meal with some friends. We brought our own Drinks with as they are very happy to serve you with a minimal corkage fee. Make sure what you bring is not on their list. If you’ve never visited the mansion I would say give it a try. Externally it’s a beautiful building, internally, it could definitely do with an update. There are many new restaurants near by that have elevated their dining experience. The Keg has some work to do. I will say their servers are always amazing!

Food was a solid 8/10. The atmosphere is very eclectic and in a really beautiful building. The steak, the cook was perfect... But felt like it was missing something flavor wise. The Garlic Mash Potatoes made it to the table cold, after mentioning it, another was brought out piping hot. Waited for a drink refill for most of my meal, but there was much more waiting throughout the entire meal then I would have expected. The Creme Brulee was delicious!

Had a pleasant experience here, the building’s architecture was good with a great back story and had a great server. My table had the lobster, a lobster roll, ribs, a steak and some fries. The fries was cold but the server quickly corrected that. Apart from that, food was good. Would recommend.

This location is mainly known for its antique architecture and immersive ambiance. I loved the interior design - it definitely added to the experience while dining. As for food… that is where everything fell short compared to other locations. The steak and scallop dishes we’ve had were unfortunately noticeably cold when they arrived. I’ve ordered these dishes in the past where they were served still hot/warm and both were delicious. The calamari was sadly in the same situation. I wouldn’t return to this location unfortunately. 3/5 stars.

I would say I really like the ambiance and atmosphere for this branch. Their classic style is really nice and different. Their service was excellent but I ordered salad and I really surprised because the portion was smaller than I expected normally for salad and it seemed like a side rather than appetizer and I’m not gonna order salad next time 🫤 I went this Keg again and this time my stake was amazing 🤩 I ordered filet minion blue cheese and definitely it’s my first in list for next time 🥰
