Excellent service, the waitress was very kind and the food quality was worth the price we paid for it.

Went here for my friend's birthday. The service was great, we had a semi-private corner in the restaurant so we had a lot of privacy. If you've never been to The Keg, expect an above-average good steak. It's not "out-of-this-world" good, but it's also not bad. For the price you're paying, you're getting a great steak! And almost every time I go, the steak is cooked to perfection. Would go again :)

This restaurant is for sure a really good address. The welcoming, service, attention and quality of the entire hosting was amazing The food is absolutely delicious and presented in a very nice way. The atmosphere maybe a bit dark for my taste and some fresh air would have helped (seated next to a beautiful fire place). Great experience while the staff maintained our feeling of being special and important during our entire dinner! In my eyes a rare service quality which the Keg surely offers!!

We went for our anniversary, on a Tuesday evening. We had not made a reservation but were greeted by the hostesses and sat promptly. Our server was named Jenn, she quickly brought us water and took our drink order. She asked us if we were celebrating anything special, we told her our anniversary. We ordered our food, myself the blackened chicken, my wife the pistachio salmon. The drinks came out along with the warm bread. Shortly after our mains showed. Mine was cooked perfect and my wife's was as well. We thought maybe the salmon had too many pistachios, but still was tasty. The side vegetables were cooked perfect and tasted good. We have a Keg in our town and we generally are underwhelmed with them there. The problem there is what The Esplanade did well, so we were pleased. ( fast and excellent service, really good food that was served hot, not so in our local Keg) When our meal was finished, Jenn brought us a complimentary piece of ice cream cake. It was good! If I had to change anything, it's so dark in there. Jenn is a excellent waitress

A nice cozy spot on the Esplanade. We ordered the iceberg salad, crab cakes, a new york striploin with mash, a prime rib with horseradish, and their vegetarian pot pie 😆 I know, strange thing to get at the Keg. The appetizers were good, and the rib and strip loin were ordered medium well and came out pretty close to that. The veggie potpie was what you'd expect and pretty filling.The service was impeccable though, the server we had was really knowledgeable and kind. The atmosphere was also pretty cozy (we went on a cold night)

Service was great from start to finish. Made reservations for an early dinner on date night as we craved steaks. Jodi was amazing! She was our server for that evening and she was super attentive and helpful all evening. Food wise, everything was cooked to perfection: everything we requested was made exactly the way we liked. The only complain with the food was that the crispy onions were a bit oily tasting. Asides from that, everything was well seasoned to our liking and very tasty and fresh. I was never a huge fan of The Keg (I’ve had some bad experiences in the past -over cooked, under cooked, over seasoned…) but this last visit, definitely worth a second visit! I wish that they would open for lunch as well, since we live within walking distance from this location. I’m extremely happy with this past experience and will most definitely be back in the future!

You need to give that server a raise. Impeccable service through and through! Ive dined at 1000s of restaurants and he was amazing. The food was delicious. Cook on steak could be more true to asking but flavour delivered. The service was aligned. Some othet keg locations you barely finish your appetizer before yout mains arrive This was staggered perfectly.

Food is excellent and service is good. A place to go to fix our mood and make our day. Rib steak is our favorite! The portion is not small though. Vegetable Gnocchi Medley and twice baked potatoes are our favorite Accompaniments. Baked Garlic Shrimp is amazing also. Overall, a good place to go and always enjoyable experience ===========an update after a recent visit and modify the review from 5 stars to 2 stars for 2 reasons. 1. The food was far away from the quality we usually had. Blue Cheese Filet with bacon wrapped - bacon was burned. Steak was old and tasteless, so was the cheese on top. Blackened Chicken was disappointing either. 2. Customer Service. We waited for over 20 minutes to get the sever place our orders after we grabbed a sit. The food dropped big time, both quality wise and portion wise. =========== update review to 1 star An update review after most recent visit on July 29, 2024. It’s really sad to see one of my favorite spots in DT came to such quality and I won’t go back for getting disappointed further. We dropped by in late evening and their patio was almost empty. We were served by a tall guy with long hair, and the service was very disappointing. He was in a rush in finishing our order or any asks we had. We ordered prime and blue cheese steak both as medium well. But the prime steak came as medium rare and the blue cheese one came as well. Vegetables were not fresh at all. (See the last 4 photos taken from the most recent visit). Both food and service are gone unfortunately.
