The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Dixon Road

I came here lastnight and was very excited to have Dinner at the Keg. I come to the keg for the quality of the food and service. When I came to the Keg I asked for a full booth, the person taking us to our seat put us in a small area where I was not comfortable. The table was very small and not much room. The person said this is all they have and can’t accommodate us for a bigger booth. I guess because of Christmas. I ended up sitting in the small area When I ordered my food. I had ordered the mushroom Neptune and Triple pepper wings. The wings seemed alittle over cooked. When I got my dinner I ordered the Peppercorn Steak with Lobster and New York Steak When I got my dinner. I noticed right away the steak looked more smaller than last time I was there. There was not a lot of peppercorn on the steak. The other steak lack seasoning. When I cut into the steak it was not medium rare on the whole steak. The taste and seasoning was not there. Both tasted very dry. I ended up just having my dessert and left. I am very disappointed with the quality of the food at the Keg. I come to the keg many times and never seen the quality this poor before. I am overall very disappointed. If you would like to hear more you can contact me.

This was my first time at this particular Keg, my steak was done to perfection, and the bacon-wrapped scallops was absolutely fantastic. And oooh my gosh, the creme brulee topped everything off divinely.. The server Jessica Curtis was so friendly. I enjoyed my experience at your restaurant.

The food was great as per usual. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sides, appetizers and drinks were all great. We always come as one large group which I know is difficult at times. The staff are always accommodating and always provide excellent service both with food and the bar.

First time in this location. The staff were friendly and there were a warm welcoming. We had a reservation so I’m not sure about their waiting period. The reason for 4 star was the new food as they brought. They added a new food on their featured menu which was a slow cooked duck. The duck was not tender as advertised and the sauce was not perfect. Overall other foods were good and I always recommend Keg Restaurants.

My Partner and I have dined at the Keg on multiple occasions. This was our first time at this location on Dixon Road and we had a wonderful experience. We booked a reservation in advance for a private booth. I always recommend booking ahead to avoid long wait times. Upon entering, we were greeted by the hostess. While we waited, we had some water from a glass drink dispenser situated right in front of us. The dispenser had lemon, lime, and orange slices inside. It looked beautiful and the fruit infused water was refreshing. We then walked over to our private booth and placed our orders. The food arrived promptly and our waitress served us with a smile. We ordered the Prime Rib with the Keg Burger. Medium rare was requested for the rib and it came out perfectly. The burger also tasted wonderful as well. Throughout dinner, Kathy checked up on us enough that it was not overwhelming or annoying. She provided us with re-fills without asking and this was nice too. Kathy also brought a piece of The Keg's signature Billy Miner Pie as a surprise because we were celebrating an engagement. Kathy, thank you for providing such a wonderful experience. We will be coming back and we recommend that people ask for YOU! If you're reading this review, definitely give this location a try.

I recently visited The Keg on Airport Road, Mississauga, near the airport, and it was quite an experience. The ambiance was lovely, and the location was easy to get to with ample parking at the back. We were greeted pleasantly at the door, which set the tone for the evening. While waiting for our table, there was plenty of space to stand around comfortably, and the cucumber water available was a nice touch. Although I wasn’t initially pleased with the area we were to be seated, the staff kindly prepared a booth for us without any fuss, which I appreciated. As for the food, I decided to try the new menu item: duck. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The outside was crispy, but the inside was dry. The server was understanding and had it removed from the bill, but the accompanying sauce didn’t help either. The lobster tail was also overcooked and too salty, so I don’t plan to order it again. On a positive note, the steak was excellent, which is what The Keg is known for. Pair it with the twice-baked potato for a great meal. The garlic Mashed potatoes was also very good. The wings to start was very good. If you can handle a little spice go for it. The bathrooms could use some upgrades, , and touchless faucets would be a good improvement. Despite some drawbacks, I enjoyed the ambiance and overall vibes. They offer a lot of gluten-free options for main courses, and I’d definitely return for another dining experience.

We had such a wonderful experience at The Keg. The food was solidly good with the shrimp with all the tasty bread being the favorite. Our lovely servicer Scottie went above and beyond for us and we noticed thoughtful details the whole service. Such a sweet slice of icecream cake of an experience. Thank you.

Natalie crushed our expectations, made us laugh and provided perfect food. This Keg was louder than a pup on Friday night, but she made it work. Great meal, drinks and atmosphere. I took a video to show how loud. UPdated we went back for a nearby dinning place and found Ella to be a fantastic server who understood the assignment and excelled at her job.
