The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Bramalea

The food and service here is always amazing. We were served by Jamie she is very polite and patient. The bread and lobster bisque are good starters and our main 12onz sirloin was fantastic. We love and enjoy the atmosphere of this location staff is friendly and food is delicious

I went for New Year's eve and I was very disappointed. First, my 11 year old son ordered 7up. The drink was just carbonated water (I guess the fountain drink had run out of syrup). No big deal, they replaced it. Secondly, my husband had the peppercorn steak and he requested well done. The steak had way to much peppercorn and when he cut into.the steak there was still blood. The waiter said he will replace the steak. My steak, I ordered medium and it was overcooked, which I let slide. Myself and my son were finished our meal and my husband still didn't get his replacement. When I saw the waiter, I flagged him and asked about my husband's meal. I told him we are finished! He said- Well, it takes at least 30 minutes to cook steak to well done. No apology! He said he will send the manager. The manager apologized and said he will take my husband's meal off the bill; big deal! Worst New Years eve ever.

This is a truly authentic steakhouse. Just look at the size of this steak—20oz! My friends couldn’t stop raving about it. The grilled lobster I ordered was also incredibly fresh and delicious. The cocktails and wine were among my favorites as well.

let’s just start off by saying the service was lovely, and the food was spectacular, however the drinks disappointed a lot. my friend got the agua fresca and I don’t think an agua fresca is supposed to taste like water mixed with black pepper because it was truly that disgusting. my daiquiri was okay, didn’t love it , it tasted more like a smoothie. I got a rose sangria thinking it would compensate for that, however just as disappointing. the steak was delicious and the twice baked potato was divine, seriously the best i’ve ever had. my friend got cheese bread and we both didn’t it, maybe this was just a preference thing but the cheddar was wayyyyy tooooo strong and bitter, I personally would not recommend it, I would request only mozzarella if possible. i’ve been to another location once before, and it was better than this, I would suggest revamping the drinks menu.

Didn’t get to stay long this time around, but felt very cared for by my server Colette, and by the hostess Melissa. Food and drink was delicious and the atmosphere was really calming. Be back soon! - 09/21/24 I forgot to come back and leave a second review until now and would like to follow up with the two additional dining experiences I had at this location. I returned on September 22 for my sister’s ninth birthday and that night was a bit of a letdown but still on okay experience. We ordered calamari, nachos, and my mother ordered a Chicago style strip loin steak. The calamari was luke warm and had remnants of a fry order on it, The meat on the nachos was incredibly salty, and my mother’s steak was a baseball cut that was so charred we sent it back. She is very particular about her food so she didn’t request a replacement as she did not want to wait any longer and was already disappointed with the appetizers. I ordered two gin basil lemonades (the first a double, the second a single). The first was good and very sweet (they used wonderfully fresh basil) and the second completely tasted like juice.Our server Justice was incredibly sweet and accommodating when we brought these things to his attention and got the kind supervisor Daniel to come by and rectify the situation. I didn’t mention the drink issue as I saw it was pretty busy and didn’t want to give them more to do. They wound up taking the two food items that were messed up completely off the bill and made sure that my sister got ice cream cake before we left as well. Justice even gave us a bag of ice to put in the to go bag we took with the cake. The next time I went was two days later with a friend and Colette gave amazing service once again. She was funny and patient with us and gave us quick service the entire time we were there. We ordered steak and lobster and couple of drinks (Moscow mule, Caesar & double gin and cranberry this time) and everything tasted AMAZING. The atmosphere was really nice as it always is whenever I show up. I accidentally left my take-home box behind and still regret it to this day lol. Definitely recommend coming here because no restaurant is perfect but this location is pretty damn close and the staff are always attentive and caring, even when they are busy with other guests.

I dine here frequently and I am super disappointed with my experience last night. My go to order is always a half rack of ribs. Particularly because the ribs are always so flavourful and it comes with the most amazing bread. We were advised that the bread is no longer considered a side dish with this meal. The waitress also handed us a separate menu for lobster fest. There were a few cocktails I was interested in and when I ordered them, neither were available to be made. When my ribs arrived, my fries were so hard as if they had been double fried. The ribs just didn’t taste right. The waitress was kind enough to bring me a baked potato, but by the time I got that I had finished the rest of my meal. As a foodie this was a disappointing experience and as my annual birthday meal with my best friend, it was even more disappointing. I don’t think The Keg will be in my go to birthday meal anymore. I usually post on my influencer page, but I didn’t get past our appetizer as the rest of the meal was disappointing. Grateful for the Billy minor pie at the end though. **** the restaurant reached out to me and made sure to address all the issues thank you for the great customer service and follow up!!

The food was wonderful. However the service could have been better. The waitress rarely came to check on us. We waited a long time to get our bill as well. My specialty coffee, the billy miner, came ice cold. I then had to wait for a new pot of coffee to be brewed. However, because the waitress didn't check on our table we had to wave someone else down. That was a little annoying.
