The Kabab Shoppe

We tried their mixed grill platter for two. The quantity was good and 3 people were able to eat it. The chicken breast and chapter kebab were the best in my opinion. I wish the combos came with kabuki rice instead of it being an up-charge. The service was excellent and the server ( the gentleman from Nepal) was very friendly and helpful, letting us know about promotions not listed . Will definitely go back!

Afghani food is one of my favourite kind of dishes & I thought I’d try this place out since I live in Oshawa! I was extremely happy with my experience here! This food is so delicious. & the young man who took my order was an absolute sweetheart! Very nice & small relaxing place for a great bite to eat! The portions are so amazing! I ordered the chicken breast kabob meal & couldn’t even finish it cause I got full & had to bring the rest home 😄 I would recommend this place to anyone! Such fresh & tasty food 😋

Monday first time visit. Chicken wrap on special it's Large! Cook made homemade falafel for me to try on the house, very nice. Large portions reasonable price. Healthy Food! Beats greasy over priced fast food restaurants. I highly recommend you to visit this place. Friendly staff moderately clean restaurant. Few tables to sit and public washroom. Open till 3am! Two meals we ate very good!

Sad to say, it’s my first time to try the food here order through uber eats. Butter chicken with rice looks soupy than creamy. The amount of water in my order is unacceptable.

I was in search of a meal that would be easy on my stomach, which was feeling unsettled from hunger. I opted for the classic Tandoori Chicken bowl. It arrived quickly, well-prepared, and ready to enjoy. The hostess, while speaking with limited English, was friendly and accommodating. The bowl, however, fell short in terms of its ingredients. The menu image promised a generous portion of French fries, but they were missing, which wasn't a major concern given my stomach issues. That said, the taste of the dish itself was excellent, though it was served lukewarm. I dined in for $12.98, and was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary bottle of water. The space was clean and quiet, with the only noise coming from the hum of the refrigerator near my seat. The ambiance was simple yet inviting, with vibrant orange accents and soft hand-finished wood floors. You could choose between bench seating or chairs. Overall, it was an interesting and unique experience. I’m always open to trying new places, but I did feel the atmosphere was a bit lonely, as the hostess spent much of her time on her phone, seemingly disengaged from the restaurant’s environment.1

A reasonable priced Kebab place in Oshawa. Their bowls are really good, so are the employees. If anyone is craving late night food, they are supposed to be open until 3 am.

Nice place for late night craving…. Food quality and quantity is really good , food is always fresh… both wraps and bowls are good and price is very reasonable…. Speed of service is not very fast . Staff is very friendly and responsive.

It was newly opened branch and was grand. The portions are huge, the platter was enough to feed a group of 7 people. We ordered some extras such as the cheese Naan and butter chicken and had to take it away as we had no idea that the portions were so big. Definitely, a bang for your buck. The food was fresh hot and tasty. One of my favourite restaurants! This location is great! Thank you, The Kabab Shoppe 👌🏽
