Delivery of oxtail and rice and peas dinner was just perfect. Oxtail was moist and tender with great flavour. I got festival and plantain sides as well. For beverages, we got cream soda and a coke Zero.

Honestly I have literally positive things to say about this establishment, uh the rice and peas are spectacular I have ordered here several times and I will keep doing so, Like the goat man... when I tell you flavour town is a thing,well it is. I'm so impressed this is like my favorite Caribbean restaurant...ever

Great Caribbean food spot in Liberty Village. They have great lunch specials and the jerk chicken is to die for. I've also had the curry goat and oxtail- both were delicious as well. #ContestEntry

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Amazing Caribbean Cuisine at The Islands!** I recently discovered *The Islands* in Liberty Village, and it’s quickly become my go-to spot for authentic Caribbean takeout. The food is absolutely incredible—full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and fresh every time. The jerk chicken is tender with just the right amount of heat, and the oxtail is fall-off-the-bone delicious! Portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the quality you get. The staff are friendly and always welcoming, making each visit a great experience. If you’re in Liberty Village and craving Caribbean food, *The Islands* is a must-try! I highly recommend it.

I keep coming back to the place! Looove their jerk chicken! I find the portion sizes great, but it can depend on who’s behind the counter. The young lady I usually encounter is super friendly and always puts the biggest chicken pieces in my order. Sometimes the older gentlemen isn’t as generous. Overall, love the taste and I think it’s great value for what you pay.

Came here just a piece of blacken chicken. Which was really delicious. Definitely would come back to tried their meal box or more specifically oxtail with rice.

We ordered jerk chicken from here before and it was good . So we returned to try the goat dinner. The portion was decent, however for me it was a bit too spicy. Others may enjoy that level of spice though as my tolerance for spicy is not that high. For the one boneless goat it was about $21 after tax. Island foods is a restaurant nearby that I personally prefer over this place - they're a bit cheaper and you can control how spicy it is in terms of the amount of pepper sauce.

The horrible service and portion sizes outweigh the taste. I paid $45 for 2 ackee and saltfish with Festival. And received less than a scoop for each. When I went back and mentioned that this is not worth $20 each and had I know it would be so little I wouldn’t have gotten it. They REFUSED to give me a refund for at least one (I truly did not want mine anymore). They scooped what seemed to be the last bit in and LAUGHED “are you happy now?” Why couldn’t they have told me from the beginning they didn’t have enough? This place needs a manager with some business acumen. If you’re ordering something outside of a mix chicken meal do yourself a favour and go to Pats, same horrible attitude but at least you get what you pay for.
