My wife and myself enjoy the night we went to this bar during the Santa crawl. We were part of it and had a great time. They were ready for all of us to stagger through the door. Good time well worth a check for yourself

The Gryphon Pub is a wonderful gem in Whitby! My friends have been suggesting this place so I came here for dinner with my husband recently and we absolutely loved it. The service here is incredible as our waitress was very attentive, friendly and quick. She made some great recommendations and took the time to answer any questions. As for the food, we shared the bruschetta flatbread and it was very good! The veggies were fresh, I would highly recommend. For our entrée, I had the ribs and my husband had the new york steak. The portions were great and everything was so delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were my favourite, so good! My husband really loved the ribs too. There was plenty to share and have leftovers. It was only $5 more to get a full rack compared to the half, such a great deal! They have such an extensive menu with something for everyone along with plenty drink options. My husband loved that they have local craft on tap and his beer came ice cold. There are many specials going on throughout the week, will definitely be back on a Friday night for their $18 steak dinner. This was some of the most quality food I have ever had at a pub, a solid 10/10! You can tell this place is loved by locals! Great food, specials, drinks and atmosphere here. They had good music going and great vibes inside. The owner seemed very friendly and genuine. The staff are all so kind and helpful. You can tell a lot of care has been put into this place. We love supporting small business and lucky for us the Gryphon Pub has just become our new go to. You definitely need to come here!

This place is awesome the staff is awesome and soo Is the food.. Their Pot Roast is an amazing deal for around $21 and the other menu items I've had have all been Fantastic.. I'll definitely be eating here at least a couple times a week until i Die....

Excellent service. Polite people. Would recommend. Beers came quick and cold and the food was well made. Great for a quick stop of a family dinner. Will be back!

Had Friday steak dinner, and stir fry chicken. We asked for medium well done and it was perfect except the edges of the steaks were burn and tasted burnt bitter. Otherwise everything was great, the service is amazing. The servers were too good, that’s why could not tell them that the steak was burnt on the edges. Will come back for the nice cozy environment.

I visit the Gryphon for the wings and great pub atmosphere. Look online for wing specials on weekdays and during games. Their food menu is extensive and I’d also recommend the shepherds pie and curry dinner. 🥧 🍛 Wings, Ribs & Appetizers are great too. 🍗 🥕 They draw a fun crowd for sports games, off track horse betting and live music. Service is awesome, bar tenders & servers do a great job at making sure you have a great time and always have a full drink! 🍻

This place is getting a 4 star strictly based on the service I received. Would have given a 2 or 3 based on food I was served by Sarah who I believe is one of the managers? She was amazinggggg super nice and welcoming with a complete understanding of the menu. I ordered cauliflower bites, spinach dip and cheese curds. The cheese curds and cauliflower bites tasted the exact same. And the spinach dip was just alright. Would I come here again? Yes,but wouldn’t go out of my way.
