The Goodman Pub and Kitchen

We stopped in here for dinner one night and were not disappointed! All of our food and drink were delicious and our sever was super friendly and efficient! I highly recommend this spot to everyone looking for a great and affordable spot in downtown Toronto!

My friends walked about looking for a place to grab a bite and this looked really good, thought we'd try it. The highlight of the experience was walking into the place and being asked to walk back out and wait when there was nobody actually hosting at the front. That was fun. The main event was the food and drinks. Arrived promptly too, nice 👌🏾. However, I'd have been okay to wait for a few more minutes if it meant that my burger and fries got some seasoning. This burger was so bland, could've come out of McDonald's kitchen and no one would know the difference. My friends food was mediocre at best too. Fish taco was good but the chicken was nothing to be desired. The fried chicken sandwich was okay. So, for the amount of money we spent, it would've been easier to just grab McDonald's. It was that lackluster 🤷🏾

Goodman Pub and Kitchen is a fantastic spot! The ambiance is both cozy and lively, making it a perfect place for any occasion. The menu is diverse and thoughtfully crafted, offering a wide range of delicious options that cater to all tastes. The drinks selection is equally impressive, with a great mix of craft beers, fine wines, and expertly made cocktails. Service here is great, the staff is friendly, attentive. The location adds to the charm, with beautiful views that enhance the overall experience.

It is such a great place to eat and relax along the waterfront. The food and service were perfect, but the atmosphere along the harbor on the patio was amazing. We'll be back again soon! Give them a shot 100%

A great dog-friendly patio on the Toronto waterfront! What a treat to be able to have our pup join us for dinner, and also enjoy his own meal at the same time! It was a great experience. Our dog certainly loved it. The service was friendly and efficient. The (human) food was standard gastropub fare, but tasty and served in good portions. We will definitely be back as it is difficult to find quality places that are also dog friendly when travelling.

We were looking for a restaurant with a patio as it was almost end of June and there should be a few nice spots close to the lake in GTA. Well, there aren’t too many, but The Goodman Pub and Kitchen did not disappoint. Location is great, on Queens Quay W close to The Harbourfront Centre, so if you happen to be downtown; it’s a great spot to visit. Patio is nice, has some glass walls to protect you from wind and they even have heaters underneath for the days when it’s a bit more chilly, and you will be at the waterfront after all. Finally, the food was great, all 3 dishes we tried were great, Buffalo Cauliflower Bites were tasty and had a great texture and bite to it, Honey Sesame Chicken Lo Mein was better than expected (not your standard corners store Lo Mein). Salmon Poke Bowl was also great, real sushi experience! Service could be a bit faster and more attentive. All in all, we will be back!

Pretzel appetizer was underwhelming. Didn’t appreciate the dijon mustard being added as a dollop directly onto the serving board and thus touching the pretzel. Would have preferred it was served in a stainless steel ramekin etc. The $2 cheese sauce add on was not worth it. Honey Sesame Chicken Lo Mein was delicious. Would 100% order it again. Atmosphere was great. On the waterfront, people watching, etc. Location can hardly go wrong. Service was perfect. Waiter was attentive and honest with food recommendations. Started to drizzle a bit on the patio and I found it a nice gesture that a second staff member would assist the food runner by holding an umbrella over them both and the food when delivering the item to the table.

Friday night dinner with friends was fantastic! The food was decent, with the calamari standing out as particularly good. The cauliflower could have been lighter in taste. The salmon poke was served warm and featured a generous portion of salmon. The brisket was substantial but a bit too salty. Service was excellent, thanks to Chloe, who was both attentive and pleasant. The venue offered great views and a vibrant atmosphere.
