The George Hamilton Restaurant & Brewery

We had a lovely new server named Anna! She was delightful. Food was fantastic and amazingly priced. Cute decor; clean and well lit. Diverse menu with all of the comfort foods you could ask for. Great desserts, too. (The deep fried cheesecake was terrific!). Would definitely visit again.

Not great. Both of us ordered fish and chips. Hubby's had bones in the fish plus it was absolutely soaked in grease. He only ate the fries. He told the waitress who was very nice . On a $60 bill they only gave us $3 off. Won't go back or recommend.

Popped into this brewery randomly on the way to the LCBO. My partner and I always like to try out new breweries and the beers inside. It's in a very convenient and easy to find location, within walking range of alot of businesses. The lady we had (forget her name) was very friendly and provided exceptional customer service. The atmosphere was very lively, and the pub had a unique layout. There's ample seating, and it's quite spacious. We ordered a red coat (amber) and were left satisfied. The beer was really tasty, cold, and flavorful. It's just unfortunate that buying a tall boy to go was so expensive. Overall, unique brewery and we enjoyed our time here.

Went in, was seated promptly, table wiped, menus delivered, drink orders taken. Server was never seen or heard from again. Waited for a little bit over 30 minutes. Sent a search party. She forgot about people on the patio. Walked. There were 4 us looking for food and drinks. It's a quite a large space and as far as we could tell, only one person working on the floor and and serving the bar. Management needs to hire.

Came on Saturday for dinner, around 4pm. First thing I got to say is this place is a very cool bar/pub/tavern. The atmosphere is great, the craft beer was very tasteful and the food was all fresh. I made sure we had reservations as this place gets very busy and it did. We got the pizza dip, spinach dip for apps and both were amazing, pizza dip isn't something I've had before, very unique tasting. The pretzel bread, was probably some of the best pretzels I've had. Then got the Carolina Sticky Fried Chicken Sandwich, amazing all the sauce, topping and chicken itself came together for a very good sandwich. Service was also great, our waitress was great with recommendations and attentiveness when we needed something. If I'm ever back in downtown Hamilton will be back.

Nice place to grab a bite. Had a great lunch here. Our server Cheyenne(?) was super friendly and helpful despite a temporary kitchen hiccup. The drinks were great and food was pretty good. Affordable prices and pleasant atmosphere. We did receive a napkin and takeout container that didn't seem properly cleaned but our tableware was all fine. I would definitely come back! It got very busy around 3pm so watch out for crowds during later hours.

I recently went to The George Hamilton Restaurant for an early dinner. The service was good with the waiters and waitresses though I was disappointed with the fish which didn’t have much taste though the Caser Salad was decent. Overall I would not recommend the Fish and Chips, but I would return again to checkout the other dishes that they have as others who were with me had decent meals. The presentation of the dish was good though.
