Pleasantly surprised by the big portions of chicken. Fried fresh to order and very crunchy. Server was very nice and attentive.

The fry has always been my to-go Korean fried chicken place, their cheese corn and fried chicken tasted so good and crispy :) Dine in experience is great because all staffs are kind and patient, there are also musics while you are dining in! I didn’t order the cheese corn but the staffs said it was on the house, would definitely recommend this store and especially dine in!

I've tried this The Fry and the one further up north, also on Yonge. Both were good, tasty food and pleasant service. Saw the deal banner as I walked by this location and thought I would post it up, comes at a good time as colder weather settles in and you want to chow down on some solid food. Buy some chicken to unlock 30% off the entire menu to go (no alcohol, no combining offers). Enjoy!

I had an amazing dining experience! The food was not only visually appealing but also incredibly delicious. The sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy, and the dip that accompanied them added a flavorful kick. The broth from the soup was light yet packed with flavor, filled with various tasty ingredients like fish cakes and vegetables. And the fried chicken was to die for—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of spice. The overall atmosphere was cozy, and the service was prompt and friendly. Definitely a place I'd visit again!

Went here after a concert (Ateez!!!) because we had a craving for Korean food and we had heard about The Fry a couple of months ago. The food definitely didn't disappoint. We ordered the Butter Garlic Fries and they were heavenly. Had a hint of sweetness to it but it was balanced out pretty well with the saltiness from the garlic. We also ordered the Hot Cheesling Chicken, which was very cheesy but not very hot. I think it would have been a lot more tasty if it was spicy, but it was still pretty good. It was also a bit pricey but I guess that's kind of expected for Toronto XD! There was only one person working the counter, which was ok for the time we went at, but it probably wouldn't be good during a more busy time. The atmosphere inside was very nice and ambient, but the lights were super dim so it kind of felt dark as soon as we walked in. Overall though, a pretty good place for some late night korean munchies.

I recently visited The Fry and had an exceptional time. Wonderful service. It was a beautiful day so they opened the front sliding door for a patio like experience. We tried their new grapefruit Korean drink called an Ade. It was sweet and delicious, with a bright and aromatic flavor that was incredibly refreshing. For our meal, we ordered the Supreme Chicken. It was perfectly crunchy and plainly seasoned, allowing the sauce to truly shine. The Supreme sauce was a delightful blend of sweet, tangy, and rich flavors—extremely unique and highly recommendable. We also had the Green Onion Fried Chicken, which was fantastic. We opted for the spicy sauce on the side, which had just the right level of spice. The sauce also paired wonderfully with the Supreme chicken, creating a harmonious flavor combination. Overall, The Fry delivered an outstanding dining experience with their innovative drinks and delicious fried chicken. Highly recommend giving it a try!

I can’t quite remember all the flavors we tried, but they were all super yummy. Really loved the rose tteokbokki, and the cheese corn was so solid too. Overall, The Fry is a yummy place for fried chicken!

It was our first time to The Fry. It was through reviews that we decided to give it a try. We ordered the soy garlic chicken bone-in with the rice cakes and fries with the garlic butter. Luckily we didn’t ordered too much because what we did ordered the taste was not I expected. The chicken was too sweet as well the fries with the garlic butter was totally a write off for me. I did not expect it to taste like icing sugar. The chicken pieces were mostly breading and bone. The taste of the food is on me because we chose it. I should have remembered that their taste profile is on the sweet side. But the chicken pieces was not right for what we paid. Service from our server was attentive, it was the highlight of our experience here.
