The Franklin House
The Franklin House is a new restaurant in Mississauga opened more than 6 months ago.
The Franklin House was built in 1855 and has gone through several changes over the last century and a half. Residence, hotel, office building, tavern, and now Streetsville’s favorite gathering place. Operating as a Pub since 2009 it has free Parking, two patio areas, upper party room, and meeting facilities. Live entertainment every weekend, Karaoke every Thursday and daily food and drink specials make The Franklin House the place to be to meet friends, enjoy great food and service. Having a large gathering, then look no further. Upper Party Room holds up to 70 people, with special menus available.

Not sure how this place is still operating. From the few times I've visited I can see that there are definite violations taking place here. If you watch long enough you will see what I mean without me highlighting them directly. The amount of random men walking behind the bar pouring drinks is astounding, maybe smart serve should be a badge displayed so we know who really should be behind that bar. I've heard rumors the girls aren't treated great...... probably why they don't employ male servers working the bar/floor, fear or retaliation, they push the men to the kitchen out the way (must say the guys in the kitchen are all amazing). After the few (possibly 4) times I've visited I can honestly say I'd probably not return due to the terrible working conditions to the staff that give their all to that establishment.

Attended triviality game show upstairs on Wednesday @7pm. Great fun good food and service by Charlotte who took good care of us Free to play game and prizes for 1st place winner!

Great service, the food was great. The crowd was the best in the place. The service is always warm and friendly, it's one to hang out just as a couple or with friends. Highly recommended.

Service was spot on! Didnt miss a beat, even running solo with a busy bar. Knew the menu with depth. Gave great suggestions for gluten-free food! and the Canadian version of a Bloody Mary, a Bloody Caesar-deliscious! Beautiful old building, yet clean and obviously cared for. Us visitors felt welcome in an obviously neighborhood gem locals' spot. And the food! You could taste the pride in their plates. I've never had a burger outside my kitchen taste better! Wow ghost burger for the win (went with the holiday appropriate decor). And after one bite my partner had no other desire than to eat every last homemade chili cheese nacho, lol! Well done Franklin House 😋🇨🇦👍! We wish we lived closer.

Good pub food, especially for the price. Overall I didn’t find the menu to be very pricey and that’s including drink one as well. It’s a nicely sized patio and I appreciate that the inside is two floors. I really enjoy nights when they have live music, it just makes for an enjoyable evening. The service is always friendly here and very quick. The drinks are refreshing and good sizes. I really enjoyed their sweet potato fries.
