The Food And Art Cafe

The owner is amazing, very attentive, and he is literally doing everything; from cleaning, to serving, to seating. The food was amazing, and the waffles were photo worthy! Highly recommend!

I’ve been looking forward to trying the FART breakfast at this cafe for awhile now, and was so glad that I did! The food was so delicious and the service was really great, too! Recommended to try it out , will definitely be back ! Thank you staff for providing me with an amazing experience. Stay blessed and happy 😀

We’re a group of 5 Neat Guys traveling around the Durham region in search of the best breakfast spots, and The F+art Café is a must-visit! This quirky little bistro was a true culinary gem. The food was excellent, portions were generous, and the prices were fair. From the eggs to the home fries, everything was spot on. The highlight was definitely getting to sit at the iconic Seinfeld table – I can now proudly say I’ve "farted" in the same seat as Jerry! A special shout-out to the scones and the magical raspberry jam – absolutely delicious! The coffee was noted to be good by all of us, refills were quick and attentive, which is something not all places master. Would you consider a small storefront expansion to sell your art, merch, scones, and jams? Definitely worth a visit.

I came here because of the vegan menu and I was not disappointed. The food here is exceptional they put a lot of heart into the food they serve you. The service was impeccable!! I highly recommend stopping in !

I had an amazing breakfast at the Food and Art Café in Whitby! The Western omelet was cooked perfectly, the crepe was delicious, and the fresh scones with three homemade jams were delightful. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the service was impressively fast—my order was served in just 3 minutes! The cozy and inviting atmosphere made the experience even better. If you’re ever in Whitby, I highly recommend stopping by for a fantastic meal and great service.

A beautiful place in downtown whitby. The staff are very nice and accommodating. The food was amazing, though slightly on the expensive side. Coffee has high caffeine, so pace yourself. I have to say that though not advertised, the French toast is the best I've had in a decade. Ordered it as a side and fell in love with it. Will visit again just for the French toast. And the tater tots were fabulous. It's amazing when a restaurant gets the basics right. The scrambled eggs looked like an omelete, but that's fine too. Hopefully, they can add some freshly squeezed juices to the menu instead of the bottled ones. Will visit again..

Its a somewhat small place, we had our daughter with us and although they didnt have room for a stroller, they had a great alternative to have her stroller seat on a high chair placed upside down! They were so accommodating the waitress was so kind and made sure it was to our liking. The food on the otherhand… WOW! Everything was overly delicious! It was so good, I completely forgot to take a photo of my dish. I upgraded my fries to a hollandaise poutine and YUM! This place definitely ranks on my top 10 favourite brunch restaurants!

Amazing food. Great portion and delicious. Price is very reasonable. Love the art work all around. It’s a busy place and recommend to make reservation. Egg was fresh and cooked perfectly. Love the poutine. Jam is home make and delicious.
