I recently dined at Firehall Restaurant and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We ordered takeout and the food arrived cold, which was surprising for a place with such a reputation. The fish was particularly off-putting—it was rock hard, almost inedible and very oily. The portion of fries was also quite small, leaving me still hungry after the meal. Considering how expensive the restaurant is, I expected much better food quality. It’s frustrating to pay for a takeout experience that doesn’t meet basic expectations. I hope they address these issues, but I won’t be returning anytime soon.

We went for Tuesday night wings. Weekly specials are great. Family friendly, clean, good service, and good food. Make reservations before showing up on wing night. We went at 4:30 pm and the place was already busy. Police, Firefighters, and EMS get 10% off the bill. Parking is busy but be sure to park in the restaurant lot or at a meter or else you might get towed.

This was one of those experiences where the food is so good you forget to take a picture. We had the extinguisher dip, the Big Mac tacos and the stinger pizza. All three were amazing. Perfect for a Friday night! I highly recommend this classic Oakville spot! But reserve a table if you go on a Friday, we had to wait 30 min because we didn’t have a reservation.

Great atmosphere and the service is amazing! The server forgot our drink, acknowledged the same and threw it on the house. I had wings and they were great, and my wife had fish and chips. Could have been two pieces of fish vs. one, but we enjoyed the dinner nonetheless.

I went to Oakville to enjoy the beach and then stopped at FireHall. The first thing that caught my attention was the Patio, very pleasant. the service was very friendly and attentive. The Pilsen beer was very good. unisex bathrooms were clean. I only ordered the Big Plate, maybe it would have been better if we had ordered the classic: a burger, appetizers, fries or tacos!

Food that is good but not a Micheline award winning restaurant. You will not be disappointed. The service is great. All the food came out warm and at the same time. They handle large groups well.

The best wing place in Oakville. Casual atmosphere. Great customer service. Family friendly. A must try if you love chicken wings!!! Their wing sauces are great. Check out their website for specials by day. Parking can be hard to find at times.
