Owl used to be my go-to spot for an amazing, hearty stew, but unfortunately, the quality has dropped. While it was once flavorful with tender pork and rich broth, the recent visits have been disappointing. The broth now lacks depth and becomes less satisfying. Portions are still generous, but the taste just doesn’t hit like it used to. It's frustrating because it used to be a favorite, but now it's just okay. Service remains decent, but the overall experience isn't what it once was.

One lady at the cashier was rude. She could have explained to me nicely that they don't accept tap payments. When I returned with my physical card, she never informed me that the POS machine was ready for payment. She stood in front of me without saying a word. Then, when we got home and opened the $25 menu item, it wasn’t even half of the bowl. When ordering to-go, make sure to double-check the items. The lady at the Yonge Street branch should not be interacting with customers. Very rude and lacks any sense of customer service.

Let's love the open 24-hour part! I think it's amazing you can enjoy nice korean food at any time of the day! Menu has changed recently, adjusting their prices a bit. Most times, this place is busy but always well staffed with friendly and efficient service.

I've known this spot for over a decade and have always loved it as a late night meal, go to place for a hang out spot with a few friends after a night of partying, comfort food spot and just in general good food. I remember when you could get a pork bone soup for less then $15 and since covid the prices have gone up quite a bit. What used to cost $12.99-$13.99 is now $18.99 and it's never guaranteed that your going to get a potatoe in your soup (that's the best part btw). Back in the day it used to be so busy even at 2am that you'd be waiting a good 10-20 mins for seating. Now it doesn't seem to be as busy and honestly I can see the reason why. The food is still good but the prices are too high for most people to be able to afford now a days. The kimchi pancake alone was $20!!! That's more then the pork bone soup and it wasn't even as good. It was greasy, not crunchy and just left me feeling shitty for wasting money on it. The pork bone soup was Atleast filling and nutritious.

Best place in town. More pricey, but always worth it. Even as a college student I will save funds to eat here as much as I can. How good is the Owl? How can I convince you to come? Here are some times I myself have come: 1. After surgery 2. After prom 3. After I broke up with my boyfriend 4. After 3 concerts 5. After a photoshoot for celebration 6. After graduation 7. For my birthday 8. For my moms birthday 9. For my grandmas birthday 10. And also all the time for takeout. Im telling you guys,,, this place it IT I recommend the Kamjatang, Kalbi, Bibimbap

We like Owl of Minerva for the good food and fair prices. It's not a luxurious restaurant, but it's cozy. The times we went, the service was attentive. There are several dish options, made with promptness. It's a restaurant worth going to.

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time after hearing rave reviews from a friend, and I must say, it lived up to the hype. The atmosphere truly captures the authentic essence and vibrant energy you hope for in a Korean dining experience. Both the quality and taste of the food were exceptional, offering a delightful culinary journey. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy genuine Korean cuisine!
