Cozy and intimate dining spot, great for a date for the night out. Friendly service from all the staff as well. In terms of food though, the options are relatively limited - while I appreciate a small "concentrated" menu (where restaurants really focus on a specific and often seasonal few dishes), the food here is a little lacking in flavours (and I do not mean just simply add more salt like one of the other reviews suggested). The presentation is also lacklustre which could definitely use some additional work. For the price point, while the atmosphere is great, the food needs improvements.

I never write reviews unless something goes wildly wrong, and in this case I'm sorry to say that it did. For the price, the food was... indescribably bland. I jokingly mentioned to my partner during the meal that I hadn't tasted anything quite so plain since having a bout of covid in 2021. I wondered if the kitchen might just be having an off night, which happens to the best of us, but it was the same for all three dishes we had. I don't mean to slander but truthfully this was my worst dining experience in several years — with a $200+ bill to top it off. Beautiful atmosphere and courteous, attentive servers though! Oh well, you can't win 'em all.

Sleek and intimate spot for good quality food. The Beef Cheeks and the Chicken Sausage were excellent. The staff is super friendly.

I was very excited to visit Fall Bright after reading reviews and seeing on Instagram. Had a seat in their charming patio, love all the tomatoes and herbs growing in the built-in planters. Nice casual vibe. Food was good, though portions were a tad small for price point, compared to other similar restaurants.

Nestled in the heart of Bloordale, this welcoming neighborhood eatery offers elevated comfort food within a cozy atmosphere. Unforgettable. A meal that you’ll remember with staff that are kind, funny and personable. The cocktails were superb, especially the Rhubarbara. The salads were exceptional and the chicken sausages and cod and leek pie were incredible. Every bite was unique and memorable. The Rhubarb and Knotweed Pie was magic. A Must Try. Instantly became one of our favourite meals of the year.

It was overall a decent experience, friendly service and nice ambiance. Their menu changes but I do recommend the beef cheeks, sourdough and chocolate cake. Leek and cod pie had great flavours and a buttery crust but sadly came burnt on one side. Sundae arrived half melted which was disappointing but flavours were great as well. We waited an entire hour between the starters and the main dishes, staff did not come over to address the long wait. They are a new restaurant so perhaps still working out the kinks. Would be interested to come back in the future and try a new menu.

Excellent service. Good food. Cozy atmosphere. Nice escarole salad with fennel and kabocha squash. Chicken stew was more like healthy broth soup with lovely herbs but bland shredded chicken. I didn't order the excessively expensive $18 desserts but they do look tempting. $19 cocktail list is very short but the lemon vesper was good value for buzz 😂 Thank you Josh, for a well balanced meal suggestion. Main floor bathrooms are rare in Toronto! Nice smelling hand soap.
