First time going to the egg and I. Honestly I felt the service could have been alot better. The food was good. The servers were nice but seemed over worked and didn't followup at all. We arrived around 11:50am and got the food around 1pm so just over an hour of waiting for 6 people. Seemed excessive and the table that arrived beside us got food first which was strange. Once the food was delivered, I had to go up several times to ask for more water, cutlery that wasn't bent, napkins, more ketchup as the bottle was empty. Some food items or toppings like adding cheese to eggs were missed that were ordered. There was a customer in front of us at the end paying his bill that had missed a side of bacon etc. I didn't leave a tip. I might try it one more time and adjust my review if things are different.

Excellent family restaurant, amazing service (Thanks Michelle and others). Great omelette. Bottomless coffee. It’s a huge place. Booths and tables. Between 8.30 and 10.30 on a Saturday it was about 50% occupied and the CO2 didn’t go above 800 (good ventilation). Friendly, welcoming. Thank you!

Food here has always been excellent. Since the new ownership, I feel like it has improved. I go in there, every staff member is always smiling and says hello. We ordered take out, we work down the road and the food was ready quickly, it was hot and my God, there was SO MUCH!! And Michelle, you are the best!!! You're always so happy, and friendly and it's a pleasure to chat with you!

I love the Egg and I. Such a great little gem of a breakfast spot, and if you're a lover of eggs benny like me, they've got a great selection. Their home fries are some of the best around! Definitely recommend.

When I recently visited Egg & I in Ancaster, I found that the service was slow with only one server who was doing a great job. We had 4 different servers that we kept getting rotated between. The ham and bacon had too much salt on them, and the pancakes could have been better. The eggs also did not taste fresh.
