The Dime on Queen is a new restaurant in Toronto opened more than 6 months ago.

Our bar sits on Queen West and Bathurst, next to the famous Bovine. We are a quaint, and laid back, casual venue, with a menu that we are extremely proud of. Everything on the menu is $5.95, all day, every day. Our backyard Patio is open as long as the weather permits. The original Dime opened in Vancouver, on the famous Commercial Drive, about 10 years ago. We are still independent, and owned and ran, by the same group of misfits from day one.

The Dime has literally been my go to since it first opened. Either to spend an evening or even as a pit stop. It’s just the right people, both the staff and the patrons. Basically an eclectic bunch with nearly zero pretentious energy. The music is fire and it’s always played at the perfect volume for me to catch a vibe. The food is good and at a great price, though I rarely eat here. I just wished they served alcoholic seltzers but I guess you can’t have it all. Overall, it feels like a house party at a good friend’s crib, only it’s not lol

Went with some friends for their “Power hour” that is advertised on their website and on the front of the menu, only to be told that it’s a “winter thing”. It was extremely disappointing as it says “Every day from 2-5pm” and didn’t specify anywhere that it was only for the winter. We decided to stay anyway for a couple of drinks and they were very good and still at a lower price point than most places. Our server was new but he was extremely friendly and got everything right.

This sports bar is nice—small but with many TVs, so you can watch from any seat. The large windows are open, and many passersby stop to ask about the game. Their Moscow Mule is good, and the Poutine is flavorful with lots of cheese. Snacks at such bars are usually decent.

Dime is an absolute gem! From their amazing cocktails that are expertly crafted to perfection, to their mouthwatering nachos that are loaded with flavor, and let's not forget about their heavenly chicken sandwich – every bite is a delight. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to unwind with friends. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience, Dime is a must-visit!

Came here on a Sunday night following the good reviews, came to check out the atmosphere and the food. Unfortunately the food was inedible. The wings were great, but everything else was unfortunately cold. The chicken on the nachos was literal rubber, i had to spit it into my napkin. The drinks were great, highly recommend the dime. I really liked the service and the atmosphere. I would come here again for drinking but not the food.
