Welcome to the Country Diner. We are a family owned and operated diner in the heart of Elmvale that serves fantastic breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. As soon as you walk in you will get that old diner feel and the staff is always warm and welcoming. Everything is made fresh in house from our fresh cut fries and mashed potatoes to our fantastic soups and sauces. Come in today and enjoy a great meal in a great atmosphere.

Right on your left, as you approach the main intersection at Hwy 27 & Queen before the lights, this diner is easy to find and serves food fast. I’d have rated it higher but for the crass conversation that was easily overheard by everyone seated in the diner (maybe 10 tables) at the end of our meal. The cook in grimy whites, leaning a hip against the counter chatting with a middle aged patron and his wife about - GET THIS - his prostate exam. I kid you not. Loud enough for all to hear the cringe-worthy details. Gag me. A word of advice: I get the homey, local vibe, but you need to pick up your game.

First time eating there. Server was great and food was too. The cook in the back was chatting about the specials, especially the lunch time specials for the students. Prices are very reasonable.

Always a delicious lunch when we stop in. Waitress was good. Only two other tables were occupied, one by friends! I was even able to get cranberries instead of mayo on my turkey sandwich.. a turkey sandwich made with real turkey!!

Just loved this place, very personable, friendly, the staff are great. Very busy place, but I can see why. The food is great, atmosphere is humming with sounds of talking and laughter and that small town vibe. Will 😁 go back. The best coconut cream pie, home made.

Absolutely incredible service and food! Never been here before, but will definitely be here again. Staff were welcoming and inviting. Quick service, and food was phenomenal! Thank you for an amazing meal!!!!!

We stopped in this cute diner while on our way to visit family. I'm so glad we did. My sister had the soup of the day harvest beef and a turkey sandwich she hasn't stopped raving about the soup and how the tomatoes on her sandwich tasted like they were fresh picked the turkey was real hand carved turkey. I had the perogies they were pan fried to perfection smothered in bacon and onions. They hit the spot that's for sure. We plan on stopping in whe we come up next. If you haven't tried it I highly recommend you do. Oh and save room for pie. The coconut cream pie is homemade goodness can't get better

This place is everything you’d ever want in a diner. Quick service, delicious affordable food and such friendly owners. Went here with a large group of 10 they were very accommodating and it was the perfect diner experience. We all very much enjoyed ourselves.
