This place (12/8/24) was completely packed but the food OMG! Try the Chicken Avocado Cheese Melt because it was everything delicious! Our server Kelsey ran 14 tables BY HER SELF and aside from waiting on our cosmos food came out fast, hot, and perfectly cooked! Check this one out 10/10.

Popped in here for a quick drink and was impressed with the menu! Nice variety of options. Great atmosphere and vibe - really cozy - could definitely dress up or pop in casually if you’re a regular in the neighbourhood. Kelsey was our server and she was super welcoming, friendly, and attentive. I got the bone broth onion soup and it tastes like what your Mom would simmer on the stove all day on a Sunday. Great experience and will def be back!

Your typical sports bar. Had a Leafs game playing. The bartender was really nice and the food was surprisingly really good. Would definitely come back to try more.

Located right at the corner of Front and Jarvis, perfect spot to grab a drink. Came here on a Sunday afternoon around 3:30pm and note that the kitchen opens at 4pm. It wasn't busy and we were able to grab a spot on the patio. They had a good selection of beer at fair prices. Would recommend and comeback to try their food.

I stopped by this restaurant recently, and while the food was just alright, I really loved the atmosphere and service. The staff was super friendly, and the whole vibe was really relaxed. What made it even better is that they’re pet-friendly and have a nice patio, so I brought my dog along. She had a blast too! It’s a great spot if you’re looking for a laid-back place to hang out, especially if you want to bring your furry friend

It's a cozy place with indoor and outdoor seating. Nice vibes. Food is good. We went for dinner and tried tacos, prawns, and truffle fries. They serve many drinks as well.

Visited The Corner Place near St. Lawrence Market and loved the summer vibes on their patio. No wait when we arrived, and the service was decent with regular check-ins. Drinks were well-priced for Toronto and quite tasty. We tried the Truffle Fries, which were fantastic—huge portion with lots of sauce and a mild truffle flavor. The Bang Bang Prawns were good too, though a bit chewy and not as large a portion. The Japanese tacos were a highlight—so delicious with a huge chicken slab, making them hard to close, but the flavors and sauces made up for it. A crispier shell would have made them perfect. The Pistachio Ricotta Cake was amazing, combining two of my favorite flavors. I just wish it was bigger hehe Overall, The Corner Place is a great spot for patio dining, and I’m definitely planning to come back!

Tasty, but pricy. Everything we ordered tasted good. We ordered Bang bang prawns, Truffle parm fries, and Basil coconut curry with chicken (Drat! Forgot to take a picture of the curry. Just imagine a bowl of rice next to a mini cast iron serving dish filled with curry that has sliced mushrooms, sliced red and green bell peppers and sliced chicken, all served atop a wooden platter). The prawns were very nice, the flavors excellent. The doneness of the prawns themselves were not perfect-- a smidge overdone, but still very good. The fries were everything fries should be: crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. While the coconut curry was good, not spicy. All three dishes had good presentation. Their food is expensive when you take portions into consideration. Servers were friendly.
