This place is special. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 6 years and this was my first time here. Food was very good and very reasonably priced. They really care to treat you to a good time. Plus a martini is only $10!

My partner and myself have been to Chef's House a several times, and never been disappointed. Today we introduced our friend, and we are happy that she had a great experience, and enjoyed the delicious and flavorful menu. Amazing service! All students working their hardest, doing their best. Our server, Abdul, was very attentive, polite and friendly. We really enjoyed his service! Complimentary to the chef that made Port Wine Poached Pear! Our friend loved so much the dessert, and she ordered second portion of Port Wine Poached Pear. My friend and I planning to come back next month to be our Christmas celebration. Big thank you to the Hospitality Manager! I am sorry, we missed his name.

A very charming experience overall. The food was lovely, nicely presented, service exceptionally attentive, great atmosphere. Was it the perfect execution? Of course not, but the effort and care from everyone there certainly was. I'd be happy to come back anytime, plenty of intriguing options on the menu, and they all cared that we enjoyed ourselves and had a great experience.

First let me say that I ate at this place on an evening after a long day and I was starved. There is a pretty good selection of appetizers and main dishes with a small selection of desserts. The meal was presented beautifully but I was expecting more (remember I was starved!!). Delicious combination of tastes on 1 plate. Love the environment! The restaurant looks like a hard loft with a large but not overpowering kitchen. Tastefully designed, the space is bright and "high end". I had 2 different people serve the drinks and the meal. The server of the meal didn't seem too interested in our presence or what she was doing. Same for when the plates were removed. Everyone else was exceptional, even the staff that didn't serve our table. An experience that should be had by all. Kudos to George Brown for offering such a culinary experience. This is not the place to go to on an empty stomach. However it is the ideal place if you want to experience a well-curated meal in an outstanding restaurant.

I recently dined at Chefs’ House and it was an enchanting experience with an elegant ambiance and a diverse, flavorful menu. Each dish was beautifully presented and expertly crafted, and the staff provided impeccable service. Especially my server Chloe gave me an excellent dining experience. Overall, Chefs’ House delivered a phenomenal dining experience that I highly recommend

5/5 plating, and the appetizers were delicious! The bread and fancy butter was a nice surprise too. The beef main course was not quite what I was hoping - a bit dry for my taste. They did offer to add more gravy or make a new one for me. I didn't take them up on their offer but it was nice that they offered! I'd happily go back and try a different main.

This restaurant is 5/5 in my book across the board. The restaurant is a training ground for the culinary and hospitality students at George Brown but let me tell you that the food and service easily surpass most of professionally run restaurant. Nothing in this restaurant suggest that it is a trial restaurant. The food is a highlight. Each dish (Chicken Pabili) is cooked to perfection and seasoned well. The crisp of the chicken skin, the balance with the black bean is a wow. The salad is arranged leaf by leaf. The soup looks like an art canvas. I mean.. this restaurant can easily match any fine dining in Toronto. The service is polite, quick and responsive. Each tables were perfectly set. One of the best service for restaurant we encountered. Overall, it is one of the more unique restaurants we had in Toronto at a very affordable price. The students in this program will go far in their career with this much attention and care put into their craft.

Amazing bang for your buck. A meal like this in a full service restaurant would at least by double. Staff tries very hard accommodate you. Nice to see that everyone is in training. Favourite dish was the sea-bream, which was very tender with a great sauce. Soup was also great and the addition of chili sauce gave it a nice spice. Focaccia bread was fresh and soft on the inside and the house made flavoured butter was really tasty
