The Captain's Boil

Went here for my wife’s birthday with the family and it was great. I had never been to one of these seafood boils and it was a great experience. This place was packed too! Very busy and popular. The food was a great quality and we enjoyed every bite. I had the seafood boil with everyone and I also enjoyed the lobster poutine, both were fantastic!! I would definitely take a group there again.

It was really fun experience! With those gloves and eating food with you hands😹 Atmosphere is cute and they have all Christmas playlists 🎄❄️ Highly recommend this place!

I’ve been craving Captain’s Boil as I haven’t been in years! The service at this location was excellent. The food can’t complain, finally got a taste of that signature Captain’s sauce again which is a combination of all 3 (garlic, cajun & lemon pepper) and highly recommend! We got the Matey’s combo for 2 which includes 2 seafood (not lobster or crab), fried rice, a shrimp basket with premium and regular sides + a pound of snow crabs MP ($40) and honestly I think it would have been enough for even 4 people. Also tried the signature coconut curry sauce with the shrimps and while good I think I can pass on it as it doesn’t stick out as a boil sauce. The fried rice and the seafood on that captains sauce is so bomb!

So disappointed. I have patroned this location for years. The quality and quantity has been inconsistent, particularly the thickness and flavourfulness of the boil sauce which is sometimes much more watered down than other times. My last take out order is the last straw. I paid extra to add sausage to my boil. Instead of the regular grilled sausage I got several peices of unidentifiable meat, that I can only guess is pork fat. It was so disgusting in the boil and a complete turn off. I had already eaten some of the shrimp and immediately felt ill. Very disappointing and gross.

Family outing dinner, ordered lobsters, crabs , squids,calamari,shrimps and add ons , corn, broccoli , okra,garlic bread,Cajun and sweet potato fries,captains fried rice, fish/chips(fries were great but fish was oily) the spicy sauce in one lobster and bag of shrimps was amazing , will be back for more in a few months 🦀🦞🦐🌽🥦🍤🍟

Went there this past weekend. Place was clean. No waiting for a table. Waiter/waitresses were friendly and helpful. We were a table of 3 and ordered the Captain’s Boil, and paid extra for sausage - and it was alot of food. It was soo good! We got the ‘mild’ spice level and it was a bit more than we anticipated…My only small gripes were that they did not have Diet Coke (Coke Zero only) and only had 2 lobster crackers for a table of 3. Everything else was great.

I was there this Sunday for Father's Day with a friend. I loved that there was no waiting at the time I got there. The food was delicious and order didn't take too long. I underestimated the portions. It was a lot of food, and I ended up taking it home. My disappointment was the waitress. She was taking her sweet time for pretty much everything. From taking our order and bringing the bill. I had to ask for the bill 3 times. She always gave the impression that she forgot, and not because she was busy or anything lol. To the point that she went to help another Waitress cleaning a table while I was waiting for the bill. She finally made eye contact and came with the bill apologizing. I just wanted to leave ASAP because I was cold.

The service was amazing at this location. Ardiz was brought great service to a different level. It was my first time doing a seafood boil and was with my Son. She helped us from beginning to end. The food was outstanding. We had the Captains Feast ‘A’ which was a crazy amount of food for 2 people. Definitely for 4 people or more. This was a really fun experience thanks to the staff. I highly recommend checking this place out.
