We were treated with phenomenal service for my fiancé‘s birthday, special shout to the bartender Katia, who took care of us and went the extra mile to give us celebratory espresso martinis at the end of our meal. She also made a wonderful paper plane cocktail. Also our server Timothy was exceptional and attentive. The food was awesome and rich in flavour profile.

Very welcoming. The service is fantastic and friendly. The presentation is outstanding, very knowledgeable about how to prep the food and what's good to recommend. Thank you to all the staff at Butcher Chef for the incredible experience. First of all, we were pretty late for our reservations due to issues with the Go Train. They were very accommodating even on a busy concert night. The food was all to DIE for. Amazing selections and the quality was unreal. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable! We would recommend to friends and we’d love to come back.

Celebrated my husband’s birthday at this steakhouse, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! The surf & turf is a standout, pairing succulent seafood with rich wagyu. The Alberta ribeye was seasoned to perfection, with the ideal balance of saltiness, tenderness, and a generous portion size. Can I say the mashed potatoes that come with the steak is beyond my wildest imagination? Its creaminess, richness and the slightly crispy crust make it absolutely divine!! We loved the arugula and truffle salad, which had a unique blend (though it could’ve been a bit less salty). We booked our table three weeks in advance, and Daniel’s service was exceptional. He called us beforehand, suggesting a slightly later arrival to dodge the hockey crowd. Throughout the evening, he was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. And don’t skip the cheesecake! It’s a must-try, with a unique flavor profile that leans toward the savory side. Yes, the place is on the pricier side, but for a special occasion like this, totally worth it. 🥳 We’ll definitely be back with friends to explore more of the menu!

Truly incredible experience. We celebrated our anniversary and it was magical! The food was so delicious, never had a meal so amazing. Highly recommend it for a special occasion or if you feel like having an amazing dining experience. We ordered the Caesar salad, white bass ceviche, Brussel sprouts, Caviar onion bloom, two cuts of steak and the most yummy dessert.

I had a wonderful birthday experience at Butcher chef the staff made my birthday so special. The staff’s hospitality doesn’t go unnoticed, they are attentive and go above and beyond to give you exceptional service. The food was fantastic and had a great presentation. I will definitely be coming back again for more special dinners.

If you appreciate a great steak and don’t mind spending a little more this will be an awesome place. They offer a great selection cuts of meat from variety of farms. I’ve been here couple times and I was impressed every time. Service is excellent, ambiance is beautiful. Corn soup is my favourite. The charcuterie plate was well put together. The corn side dish and mushrooms are very good I highly recommend them. Dessert option is good. I enjoyed the Lemon Posset. Over all I would definitely recommend this place for beautiful cuts of steak.

A modern yet classic steakhouse with phenomenal service. Attention to detail is a superb here, from the embroidered napkins to the Japanese steak knives to the constant flatware replacement (don’t get too attached to your plate because it will get replaced a few times throughout your meal). Although the quality of steak is expectedly high, do not discount the pasta. The wagyu truffle pasta was incredible. The fennel salad with the puffed rice crunch and miso dressing was also fantastic. Enjoyed a set menu on the covered patio during the rain and had a wonderful meal.
