The Basilico: Italian & South Asian Cuisine

Had an amazing experience last night at the Basilico. The space was contemporary and modern, giving the small town vibe everyone needs/looking for. The food was amazing - everything was so flavourful. The staff and manager were very present and made sure everything was right. Food wait time was short, which everyone loves. Must try the Apple cake !! 10/10 chefs kisses.

Outstanding food with an excellent decor! Honestly, I have been to many places but the food here is reasonably priced and portioned. My daughter is usually fussy when it comes to food but surprisingly she finished her’s plate . Would highly recommend this place to all my friends and family and Thank you to the owner for arranging a lovely seating and recommendations for everyone! Will definitely visit you soon !

I was looking forward to trying out this restaurant, however my experience was horrible and would not recommend. It took over 5 min to be greeted and seated even though the place was empty. Staff saw us behind the kitchen doors but choose to keep us waiting. I order butter panner and received chicken instead which was extremely disappointing considering I am vegetarian for fasting reasons. My sister order the Cajun pasta with no meat after the waiter recommended. The pasta had no flavour to it at all. Then when it came to the bill they wanted to charge me $30 for the pasta even though there was no meat. She came back charged me for a lower priced pasta but then charged me for veggies cause there was onions and green peppers in the pasta. No compensation given the wrong item. Order wasn't repeated by the waiter. She didn't even have a paper to write our order. No apology or anything. Such a terrible experience. I expected more of an apology from even a manager or someone higher up. Never again. This is not the customer service one should receive.

What a great place!!!! The owner/manager was absolutely wonderful! We will definitely be back. Had the penne pesto and Bruschetta to start. Husband had bolognese and Caesar salad to start. Great job 👏🏻

Went to the Basilico restaurant for the first time because of word of mouth and I’m not even joking about how delicious the food is! Our server John did an amazing job, food was delivered on time, compliments to the chef, I’ll surely be back. The Ambience is topnotch! I recommend for dinner dates, warm meetings or family hangouts.

The atmosphere to this place is amazing. The owners were kind and very welcoming! The food was exceptional just the right spices and flavour. The food here is authentic and the presentation is stunning. My family really enjoyed their meals. Also highly recommend the Milo Martini. It was one of my favourites.

If you’re a foodie like me, you’ll love this place! The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes , and we loved everything we tried. We had the rolls , the house pasta kothu , tofee cake and the tiramisu ! It was a 10/10 ! The service was excellent . I can’t wait to come back again!

If you are looking for a new amazing place for food this is the place for you! The atmosphere is so gorgeous. The food! AMAZING!! Authentic and delicious. Everything about this place is amazing. A must try! Service was excellent and extremely attentive. Our new favorite place to eat! The pricing is well priced for the taste and portions. I give this place a 10/10!!
