I must say that the Base restaurant which I recently visited, surpassed all of my expectations. The friendly and inviting staff created the perfect foundation for an incredible encounter from the time we entered. the staff made sure we had everything we needed and was really kind and attentive. Everything we received was delicious, fresh, and well presented, and the menu offered a wide range of selections.

Staff was very friendly. Service took some time, but that was fine. The chicken biryani was delicious. I wish the yogurt they give on the side was a bit bigger. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely be coming back.

Authentic Sri Lankan Flavors! Base Kitchen in Toronto is a hidden gem for Sri Lankan cuisine! The dishes are bursting with authentic flavors, perfectly spiced, and absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and an amazing balance of spices. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Highly recommend to anyone who loves bold and flavorful food. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

I absolutely love the atmosphere here, it's a relaxing and the music is great. More importantly the food is phenomenal! You can adjust the level of spice you want as well. I didn't even take photos properly because we devoured everything so quickly. We ordered nasi gorean, chopped Suey, deviled chicken and egg kotu. For drinks we got mango lasi and our dessert was biscuit pudding.

I recently dined at The base kitchen with my family and had an excellent dinning experience. We had some delicious hoppers, pol sambol , chicken curry and Sri Lankan style Kottu . Flavours were mouth watering and definitely enjoyed the vibe . Would definitely go back.

We visited The Base Kitchen and Bar for the first time after a friend's invite, and it was an unexpected delight! The New Colombo style in Scarborough is a fantastic touch. The food and vibe were amazing—karaoke music, including Sri Lankan Baila songs, added fun, and both the food and drinks were top-notch. The calamari, egg appam, and fried rice were especially fresh and tasty. The service was very attentive and polite. Highly recommended!
