At The Backyard Smokehouse, we believe the passion for smoking foods can only be complete by marinating overnight first before carefully aging the meats until perfection is achieved. For this purpose, all our meats are marinated in our signature spices before undergoing a 30+ day minimum aging process. Only after perfecting maturity does Chef Faris Awwad allow the smoke from the oak fire to begin slowly but surely burning all ends over a 16 hr. period. In that time, his unique blend of smoke evokes exquisite flavors to each cut, leaving The Backyard Smokehouse with the sweet aroma of Classic Southern BBQ. All our meat and poultry products are sourced locally from top USDA Halal Certified suppliers of the highest pedigree.

We places order for Brisket mac n cheese, brisket poutine and Brisket burger. Portion size for mac n cheese wasn’t as big for what we paid. Taste was good. Parking is in back side, I found it right away with plenty of free space in afternoon

Tasty food, good portions and super friendly staff. There’s really nothing else I can ask of it. The price is a little high but it’s about standard for quality bbq. The meat was tender, the sides were good. We got the whole 9 yards to split among 5 ppl and we were more than full by the end. Would probably recommend it more for groups of 6. I was pleased by everything on the 9 yards set.

We decided to try this place because of the reviews, but honestly, the food was pretty underwhelming. It’s alright, but for the price, I expected more. The meat was a bit dry, though the back ribs were perfect. We also ordered wings and a burger—the burger was decent, but the wings had a feather still attached. I told the server, and he immediately took care of it, replacing them without issue. The replacement wings were fine, so I appreciated the quick response. Unfortunately, the BBQ corn was probably the worst I’ve ever had. It was cold, flavorless, and burnt. The restaurant itself is decent, but since they don’t serve alcohol, there were a lot of kids. On the day we visited, kids were running around yelling, and at one point, one even put their toy car on our table. The parents didn’t seem to care, so the server had to step in and ask the child to leave. Overall, it’s an okay restaurant with great service, but the food is just average—not bad, but not amazing either. They really need a better policy regarding kids. It’s a smokehouse, which I imagine is meant to be a date-night kind of place, but the chaotic atmosphere made it hard to enjoy.

Food, atmosphere, and service all was perfect! The meat was so tasty and juicy, the drinks was new and refreshing. I had a very pleasant dinner at this restaurant. I wish they could do some offers that can be more affordable

The food was amazing and the service was great! We had the brisket beef burger, short ribs, and pulled chuck, along with some starters (the mac & cheese was really good). Mohammad was very friendly and accommodating. We’ll definitely come back to try more!

Absolutely amazing!!! The location is so cozy and the people were so welcoming. We went Friday for our date night dinner and it wasn’t too busy service was fast and delicious. We did the premium experience and when I tell you $65 each is a DEAL! You get sooo much food. I attached photos just to see. Probably one of the best BBQs we have been to in a long time.

Halal joint but average overall. The brisket tastes good but it felt quite dry and the sauce provided tasted mostly like ketchup then anything else. The price is also quite a bit more expensive than other places and while the restaurant is quite nicely set up it can't make up for everything else. Tried the brisket plate which came with Caesar salad and added up the two sides combo. The sides are quite small however the Mac n cheese was pretty good and the Caesar salad was decent. The creamy coleslaw was ok.

This place was amazing! The food was incredible and service was great. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Food came out hot and fast. The brisket sandwich was the best one I’ve ever had and the portion was huge. Good value for the price. Cornbread and Mac was also very good. Glad we found this spot!
