The Backyard
The Backyard is a new restaurant in Lake Simcoe opened more than 6 months ago.
Our restaurant is in a quaint golf course setting with a beautiful outdoor patio looking through a birch tree forest with rolling greenery in the distance. This is a great place to enjoy your meal in a relaxed tranquil setting where there is no rush. It's a great escape to enjoy and unwind. The restaurant is open to everyone and we encourage everyone to come and enjoy a meal on the patio or in our air conditioned dining room.

There is no way this is 4.7 legitimate rating. We ordered double patty burger and tacos. The burger was bland, and the fries were burned. The tacos were cold and inedible. Looks like only bad reviews are responded to by owners. You need to improve your cooking. Otherwise, people will stop coming. We were very hungry but on top of this we left extremely angry.

My girlfriends and I , The Windsisters got together for our annual Xmas party . We had such a great time . I will return for sure to take my mum . We had the steak dinner and it was so delicious and was the juiciest steak I've ever had . It was well worth it for the size as well . I had to bring my doggy bag home I was so stuffed . I can't wait for our next year's annual Xmas party . Such a cute wee atmosphere with their wood stove. Bravo to the owner and his wife .

Attended a Christmas party here this week and the owners and food were absolutely fantastic! I had the steak dinner which was HUGE and prepared perfectly. That was my first visit but will be back for sure! thanks for a great evening !

Stopped here on our way back from a day trip on a whim. Husband had the brisket sandwich, I had a basic cheeseburger and my toddler had a birthday cake milkshake. Portions were perfect, brisket was juicy, burger was made exactly to my liking and the milkshake was decorated with a twinkle. This is a small, simple, casual place that is super clean and has AMAZING food. And friendly staff! Definitely will return to try other items on the menu.
