Really nice employees, good beer but for a wall of choices, many were out. We had a flight and poutine tots. Worst part was the washroom. Very NARROW, caught a belt loop on the handle, they are super bright in a mostly dark bar and I would love to see any single stall door employ a visual green=empty red=locked from the outside.

Myself, and 2 friends, went here after a long day of shopping on Sunday Nov 10, 2024 around 3pm. The place was quiet (they were much busier earlier in the day). It was my first time there but went under recommendation of a friend. It's a Sports bar with almost an English Pub style feel. Diners don't feel out of place (or at least on a quiet Sunday afternoon). The background music was upbeat and at a volume that didn't impede casual conversation among us at the table. May be a completely different story on Game Nights. They were out of many items.. coffee being the one i remember most as i don't drink alcohol. (although, as i said, they were quite busy earlier in the day for Brunch... and also the night before for a football game on screen). Of the 3 of us, 1 was a vegetarian. She first ordered the Veggie Burger but they were out, she and my other friend then ordered the Eggs Benedict but they were out of the sauce that goes over it. We all finally chose the Classic breakfast (the Vegetarian had it with Avocado instead of meat). Our experience went from bad to amazing by the person who served us > Avery, the Bartender. She is the epitome of Customer service. Very friendly, approachable, knows her job, and is willing to go that extra step to make sure people have an enjoyable visit there. We will definitely return.

Just awful. Went in to watch the hockey game and the server took 10 min to come over and take our order. We got a margarita and whiskey sour--- if its a beer place that's fine but don't put something on your menu your staff can't make. Our drinks were un-drinkable. I watched as the bartender googled how to make our drinks and apprehensively made them. Not the bartender's fault that she wasn't trained properly on the menu. After not getting my hubby's drink after 15 min to a not busy at all room, we moved to the bar for quicker service. Eventually the bartender noticed we were not drinking our drinks and came over where we ordered more standard drinks. When a bar won't use their pop gun but uses cans instead it makes me weary of how often taps and lines are cleaned. Would not go back again. Half the staff were dressed down as dishwashers and the other half dressed as a night club. 56$ for 4 drinks, all just terrible.

Sat in patio on a nice September evening with a friend...nice beer selection, got a flight of their American pale and lager...friendly staff, good service, vibrant atmosphere....Recommend.

I live in the area and have been here several times. The service has always been questionable but kept going back because the food was good. Unfortunately this time the service and food was terrible. Took about 10 minutes to be acknowledged, was never offered water while sitting outside on a hot day. Watched our drinks sit on the bar for 5 minutes before they were brought to us. They used dark meat that was more fat than meat. Neither me or the person I went with could eat our food. The chef did come out and grill up another chicken sandwich which we did eat and they offered to comp my girlfriends meal. Overall this could be a great place and as a local I'm hoping the owner see this review and makes some changes! They have an amazing patio and great beer! Could be an awesome place to hang out if the service and food was better!

Disappointed. When I arrived, I asked to do takeout and sit at the bar for a drink. There were ZERO people inside and maybe 20 people outside. It took a bit for the bartender to acknowledge me. Lol!! And when he did... OMG, his unwelcoming attitude sucked. Ordered my food. Ordered a bevy that was 75% ice. Hot day and not even a complimentary glass of water. Less than 10 minutes later, I got my food and left. Fries were cold, and the chicken tenders overcooked.

It was a fun night. We went there for a karaoke night. The place is very nice high ceiling, big window, well located. The service is very friendly. The beer is good and the food is tasty. For a karaoke night, the bar was not crowded, but the few people there were enjoying it, even not singing well, we had a lot of fun.

I recently visited the Aviary for lunch with a friend. The staff are very welcoming. Monica was our server and she made some great suggestions with the menu and was polite and friendly. They have pub style eats and a great selection of different beers from their brewery that you can’t find elsewhere. We ordered the crispy cauliflower and the hot canary fried chicken sandwich. The food was nice and hot, spicy pairs well with the beer selection. The restaurant is fully accessible for persons with physical disabilities. They also have a variety of different events to enjoy and connect with people in the neighbourhood.
