The Apricot Tree Cafe is a new restaurant in Mississauga opened more than 6 months ago.

Apricot Tree Café opened on December 3, 1993 and to this day it is still operated by Husband and Wife Team Franz and Esther Hochholdinger. Originally opened as a Dessert and Cake Shop, a light Lunch menu with Soups, Salads and Sandwiches were added. In 1997 we moved to a larger Unit within the same Plaza. With a larger kitchen it also allowed us to start offering a Breakfast and Dinner menu as well. In 2016 we expanded again at the current location. This also allowed us to expand our menus further. All our Desserts, Cakes, Pastries and Ice cream are still made on the premises. The many Awards over the years are a true statement of our efforts to provide an exceptional dining experience by using the freshest and best ingredients

I have been to the Apricot Tree several times and always have had a good experience overall. Recently, I went for breakfast. The waitress was lovely however, my eggs Benedict were disappointing. The english muffin was not toasted and I wasn't asked how I would like the eggs cooked. Overall, the food had little flavour. We also waited a long time for our food. The large group at the table on the other side of a low wall was very loud to the point I could hardly hear the person across from me. The acoustics are not great.

Apricot Tree Cafe has been my go to spot for years. Their cakes are simply mouthwatering, and I always look forward to indulging in their decadent desserts. The ice cream is another highlight, especially during the hot summer months. When it comes to savory dishes, their schnitzel is a crowd-pleaser, and their brunch menu offers a variety of delicious options to satisfy any craving. The atmosphere is always relaxed and inviting, making it the perfect place to unwind with friends or family. The staff is friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive dining experience. Whether you're in the mood for a sweet treat or a hearty meal, Apricot Tree Cafe is sure to impress.

I have been going here since I was a child with my family. One of my favourite things to admire is their cake window. Food is excellent! The chefs can always accommodate my allergies. Service is lovely. Staff are friendly. Many are students or staff trying to advance their careers. Franz and Esther have always helped their staff to grow and learn. Desserts are more European. My favourite.

Food is the same menu but they added a daily dinner menu that seems to change :) food was great and I got to celebrate a friend's birthday here. If you ask to split a dish they bring it out already separated in 2 plates which I found thoughtful. I got a beef tenderloin crepe which was on the night dinner menu that seemed to change.

One of the best cafes in Mississauga. Have been coming here for 10 years but it hasn’t changed at all. The food is as awesome as always. Our server Adriana was very welcoming and super friendly. She went above and beyond to recommend food and dessert choices to us. We had a great time on the patio and our server managed to keep the annoying bees away from our table.

The food was pretty bad considering it had no taste and was extremely bland. I ordered a spicy chicken wrap and the wrap had to be eaten with a knife and a fork because it was sopping wet and could not be picked up. I had the other portion to go and threw it out later because I started feeling nauseous about 45 mins after I ate there. I would like to clarify that I'm not allergic to any of the ingredients. The service was good but we will def not go back here because of the quality of food. Pretty much wasted $50 here.

I had a delightful dining experience at an authentic European restaurant, bustling with energy even at 3 PM. Located in a stunning outdoor plaza, the ambiance was perfect for enjoying coffee, pasta, and heavenly cakes. Each dish felt like a culinary journey to Europe, with rich flavors and authentic preparation. This restaurant offers a beautiful escape into European dining culture, right in our city. Highly recommended for its excellent pasta, cakes, and serene coffee moments. A true gem that beautifully encapsulates European cuisine and atmosphere.

As this restaurant has been in business for 30 years, my review is likely in the minority opinion. I have never been to a restaurant with such bland food before. Sandwich, wrap, quiche, all bland. Even my Apple Strudel Coffee was a let down. And for $7 what a sham. Banana Split must have been sitting under a heat lamp as it was very melty. This was my first and last time eating here. At least the server was pleasant.
