Worst experience at this location. Ordered take out through door dash and the curry braised beef clearly isn’t what was advertised. The beef is not braised beef as they claim it to be. It’s just a piece of skirt steak thrown in. It was tough and chewy. The devil beef I’ve ordered many times from other locations, and I must say this is the worst I’ve tried. The sauce was so wet and watery that it made the ‘crispy beef’ soggy and the beef was tough and chewy. The food didn’t taste anything spectacular. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Amazing Thai Food & Cozy Atmosphere! Stumbled upon Thairoomgrand by chance while meeting friends in Midtown, and I can’t believe I didn’t discover this gem sooner! From the warm and inviting décor to the authentic flavors, everything about this place screams excellence. What we ordered and loved: 🦑 Calamari – Perfectly golden and crispy, paired with a tangy Thai sweet chili sauce. A must-try starter! 🍜 Khao Soi – This Northern Thai curry noodle dish is packed with flavor, blending creamy coconut curry with tender shrimp and noodles. Don’t forget to squeeze the lime for an extra zing! 🥘 Green Curry – Rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. The mix of fresh veggies and meat options (we went with chicken) made it unforgettable. Pro tip: Ask for rice if you want it on the side! 🍹 Thai Ice Tea – A refreshing classic served with the perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess. Bonus points for the cute umbrella garnish! 🥭 Coconut Sticky Rice – A beautiful dessert made with chewy black sticky rice, fresh juicy mango, and a drizzle of coconut milk. The texture and flavor are divine. Highlights: ✅Ambiance: Stunning Southeast Asian décor with warm lighting and cozy seating. Great for date nights, family gatherings, or catching up with friends. ✅Service: Attentive and friendly staff who make you feel welcome. ✅Value: At $25-35 per person, it’s super reasonable for the quality and portions. With several locations in Toronto (Midtown, Etobicoke, York Mills, and Square One), it’s easy to find one near you. Can’t wait to visit again!

Disappointing Experience with Misleading Menu Prices We recently visited Thai Room Grand and were very disappointed with the service and the pricing discrepancies. We went in specifically to order the Bangkok Pad Thai, which is listed on their website for $14. However, when we arrived, we were told that they only offer the “Grand Room Pad Thai” or “Curried Pad Thai,” with no mention of the Bangkok Pad Thai. While we were still trying to figure out if the Grand Room Pad Thai was the same dish, we were immediately charged for it without confirmation. After checking the website again, we found that they do offer Bangkok Pad Thai as a separate option. When we tried to change our order, they told us we would need to pay $20 for the Bangkok Pad Thai, despite it clearly being listed for $14 on their menu. To make matters worse, they refused to change our order and did not offer any refund. Overall, the experience felt very frustrating and misleading, and it left us questioning the fairness of their pricing and customer service.

We visited this restaurant for the first time and had a pleasant experience. The staff were polite, friendly, and very helpful. The menu offers a wide range of appealing options, and we chose the Mango Chicken and Aromatic Seafood Combination, both of which we literally enjoyed. We’ll definitely be returning, as we loved the food, the quality of service, and the reasonable prices.

Loved it! Amazing! The presentation of the food is stunning, with a great taste to match. It is very welcoming, with very kind staff and a pretty and calming atmosphere. It’s a little pricy but worth it for the huge portions of food. It’s a mix of Thai and Malaysian food so you get to experience both. By far the best Thai restaurant I’ve eaten at since my trip to Thailand!

We really enjoy Thai room, our friends introduced us and we have had their dishes multiple times. They chili oil was so so good and spicy, it’s been engraved in my memory. While everyone in the reviews loves their mango sticky rice, it was confusing on my pallet to have green rice and lots of crunchy toppings but that’s just me. Rest all Food is still yum!

If you're looking for an upscale feel, without an upscale price - this is the place for you! I'm really big on food presentation and by far, and the ThaiRoomGrand beats even some of the neighboring well known restaurants. The food tastes amazing! I went twice in 1 week! The service is good too, waiters are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend if you're in the Midtown area to check it out!

Came here in July and it was the best Thai restaurant I've been to in Toronto! The menu has a great selection (more options than many other restaurants) and the dishes are thoughtfully presented despite the affordable prices. The food had generous portions and was very flavourful - especially the tom yum soup. Also would highly recommend the mango dessert - so beautiful and delicious! Not to mention a tastefully decorated ambiance and friendly service. Would love to come back!
