we were starving and ended up driving here as we had good food experience from thai room college. The food came fast but to our surprise everything except the iced water was straight up trash. The green curry tasted like a dessert, the malay curry idek what to talk about it. and the last but not the least, the fried rice was just a below avg fried rice with oddly tasting beef in it. All the proteins had a weird aftertaste. And we had to pay in full although they offered a complimentary dish but we were so done with the food. However, the server was really nice and she needs to work for some nice restaurant fr her energy doesnt match with the type of fod they serve. not recommended at all, i might recommend the iced water though

Ordered spicy noodles. It was properly spicy. Large wedges of lemon and orange. Thankfully no sugar in it!

Friends and I ate here for dinner and ordered the Famous Pad Thai, Curry Pad Thai, Basil and Garlic Shrimp and Coconut Mango Chicken. The price for the serving size was good, loved the Coconut Mango with the crispy breaded chicken. Both types of Pad Thai were just perfectly cooked and saucy, friends said it was more on the sour side in terms of flavour but I actually prefer it that way. The shrimp was also nice and juicy and not over cooked. Each dish were flavoured appropriately and distinctly. 8.5/10 would come back again for the food. Service could be better but I’m not that picky. Staff maintained cleanliness of tables almost immediately after leaving the table. Glad to see that upon paying using their system that the tip section isn’t immediately asking for 18-22% like I have been seeing some places do. The vibe inside the restaurant was nicely decorated. Washrooms were clean and properly stocked.

I had high hopes for this place, but goodness gracious my pad Thai had waaaaay too much tamarind! I got a vegetarian version and was really excited, but as soon as I opened the lid of my takeout (I ate right on their patio), the sauce went all over my shirt, definitely not a pleasant experience with the food right away! The container was filled to the brim with sauce and was leaking. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t go again, the only saving grace was the decor and the friendliness of the staff. Also, they don’t do mocktails, so if you don’t drink or if you don’t plan on drinking in general, you are out of luck!

We recently discovered this Thai restaurant, let me tell you that the flavors in the food were authentic, and fresh. The flavors took us back to Thailand. We are definitely coming back to eat at this place.

I actually went specifically for the special dessert: sticky rice, with coconut, mango & cashews. I've always loved this dessert, and went there just for this dessert! I seem to remember the portions were bigger, but it was great nonetheless. Also ordered some vegetarian vermicelli glass noodles. My order was fulfilled on time, and overall I was pleased.

Thai Room surviving yellow Thai curry 🍛 Yellow Thai curry is a delightful and aromatic dish that never fails to impress with its harmonious blend of flavors. I recently had the pleasure of savoring a bowl of this culinary masterpiece, and here's my review: The first thing that struck me about the yellow Thai curry was its vibrant and inviting appearance. The rich, golden hue of the curry immediately whetted my appetite. The aroma that wafted from the bowl was equally enticing, a tantalizing mix of lemongrass, coconut, and an array of exotic spices. The taste was a symphony of flavors. The creaminess of the coconut milk provided a soothing base, which was beautifully balanced by the tanginess of the lime leaves and the slight sweetness of palm sugar. The star of the show, however, was the medley of spices – turmeric, cumin, coriander, and a touch of chili heat, all working in perfect harmony. The tender chunks of protein, usually chicken or tofu, absorbed these flavors wonderfully. What I appreciate most about yellow Thai curry is its versatility. It can be tailored to one's spice preference, making it accessible to a wide range of palates. For those who prefer mild flavors, it's a comforting and creamy indulgence, while those seeking a more fiery experience can add extra chili to their liking. The accompanying jasmine rice was the ideal partner for this dish, providing a neutral canvas that allowed the curry's complex flavors to shine. The fresh herbs, like cilantro and Thai basil, added a burst of freshness to every bite. In conclusion, yellow Thai curry is a culinary masterpiece that I would heartily recommend to anyone seeking a taste adventure. Its balance of flavors, from creamy coconut to zesty spices, is nothing short of delightful. Whether you're a Thai food enthusiast or new to this cuisine, yellow Thai curry is a must-try that will transport your taste buds to the streets of Thailand.

Been going to this place for over 5 years now and it remains one of the favorites. The food was delicious and the portion size and price were very reasonable. Have tried several items including the curries (green is the favorite), the Thai chilly beef (which is crispy and quite flavourful though at times can get a little too sweet and not enough spicy), the drunken noodles (which are great) and the Pad Thai which is also very good. The location is a bit small and can get crowded which shows that ppl like it. we once witnessed a shouting match between the manager and a customer which is ofc highly unprofessional. However overall, not too much to complain about.
