Love this place! The tastes and flavours are definitely not run off the mill - very delicious, very unique! Not overly spicy and well balanced. Highly recommend.

Found this restaurant on Ubereats and decided to try a few of their lunch specials. By the 3rd day of ordering, the quality and consistency have made this a lunch go to for us. Had the cashew nut stir fry (chicken), Basil fried rice beef and chicken versions, Pad Thai (beef), Chicken satay with mango salad, golden curry (chicken), the Pad Ke Maow basil noodle dish (beef), Soya noodles both beef and chicken versions, pineapple curry (chicken) with sticky rice. We also tried their pumpkin soup, spring rolls, and fried banana. In all the dishes were great, they were flavorful and made with care. There is attention to detail with how items are packed to decrease the risk of spills, utensils and napkins are wrapped securely, and food is delivered hot. While I found the beef dishes to be a bit lack luster due to the beef quality, my fiance did not mind it. I feel they really shine with the chicken version of their dishes and find the quality to be far better. My favourite dish was the golden curry (chicken) with jasmine rice and mango salad. Exceptional flavour and a great balance of veggies and meat. The chicken satay with rice and mango salad is also quite good and a close 2nd to the golden curry. We will definitely be ordering again.

Bee was an outstanding server and the food was delicious. Such a big portion for the lunch time menu. The green curry was perfectly creamy and spicy and the mango salad was lovely. The Thai iced tea is also a sweet, creamy indulgence and the deep fried bananas are the perfect end to an amazing meal.

The small restaurant is a hidden jam with amazing food and a very reasonable price! There were 6 of us and everyone loved the food. The peanut curry sauce with beef was sublime and the mango salad was refreshing. The lunch special price includes the soup and rice and is cheaper than any downtown food court. The hostess Bee was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely frequent this place!

Run don't walk away from this place. I've been on a Thai food crave recently, so I've been going to places near Etobicoke and in Mississauga, so I don't have to mission DT to Pai or Khoa San Road. Gf saw this place was short drive away, so we decided to order for take out. Let's begin with the positives. The sauce that comes with the Wontons is delicious. The Wontons themselves are good. I wish they were fried for like 30-60 seconds longer, but that's just a preference. This ends the positive feedback. Massaman curry is how I judge most Thai restaurants. Does it balance the sweet, tangy tamarind, and sour fish sauce/shrimp paste properly. How pronounced is the coconut milk. Is the beef braised to the point that it melts in your mouth. Are the potatoes cooked through, and the refreshing crisp/crunch when you get a peanut in your spoonful. I'm saddened to report that this place hits none of the tones/ experiences I have had with Massaman Curry. To begin, that beef was overcooked, tough, and chewy. If I were giving it to my dog as a chew for him to go at while brushing, it would be perfect. But for human consumption, unless chewing rubber us your fancy, don't order the Beef. This beef was tough like a single mother on Maury. Could use it as the rubber to filling in a playground. 0/10. Next, how a dish that potatoes should be stewing in, have hard, undercooked potatoes. If you poked it with a fork, you would know them potatoes weren't done. Why serve it to a customer? 0/10. The Massaman Curry broth/sauce itself was a bit thin. I would have preferred a thicker and more consistent reduction, but I didn't hate it 5/10. The unblanched, mushy, and skin on peanuts was disgusting. Never have I ever eaten a mushy peanut until now. Bit into it, and grainy, mush explosion into my mouth was so repulsive I picked them out of the Curry and threw them in trash right away. Minus 5/10. Gf said the Pad Kee Maow was also mush. It saddens me that Thai Express is better than this place. I see why the inside of the restaurant was dead. Frankly, 1 star is too high for this faux Thai food.

I love Thailand and Thai food very much! 🇹🇭This restaurant is so delicious! Every dish is delicious and makes me feel like I'm back in Thailand. The owner is a lady from Thailand, very gentle and friendly. She gave me a hug when I left. I felt the friendliness of Thai people.

It's our 3rd time today coming here in Thai Jalearn, and all those times were an amazing experience. The food and service were great! We ordered chicken satay skewers for appetizer, stir-fried seafood, and sliced fried chicken over ginger rice for mains. We were thankful to get complimentary banana fritters for dessert. They were yummy, and we couldn't help taking photos of the food! If you're looking for authentic Thai food, then look no further. Just come here to Thai Jalearn!

Dined at this simple Thai restaurant. We had the refreshing Mango Salad, spicy Pad Ke Mao (we chose the full spice level) which was deliciously spicy, and the Green Curry with steamed rice to calm down that fiery kick of the last dish. Towards the end of our dinner, we received some good, complimentary Fried Banana. Overall, great food and customer service.
