I wanted to try Thai express again after a couple years of last eating from there. It was a bad decision and I shouldve got timmies instead for cheaper. Customer service was seldom and the chicken pad Thai I ordered was terrible. I can’t even finish my meal because the chicken was so overcooked, tough you can’t even break it with chopsticks and I was suprised by that for $14 odd dollars also during the gst break. There’s no lineup mostly at this location so why is the chicken not fresh? This franchise fell off and I didn’t know why until today. I will never be buying Thai express ever again at any location. Disappointed and a complete waste of peoples money. This food is not worth over 10-11$ for that quality. I can’t believe I lost $15 today. Complete disrespect to front line workers that work in the hospital trying to get lunch. Oh and also the young lady working the cash is very rude. Don’t even bother asking for peanuts or any other sauce or napkins because when I tried asking her for a chopstick she looked at me as if I asked for a loan or something. Very rude and I understand why there never any lineup.

I’ve tried this location a few times for work lunch meal. Each time they are sooo cheap on any veg. Lucky if you get one single piece of greens. If you complain they want to charge extra for what should be normal.

Food is ok but what in the hell is this portion size. Picture below for reference but that was $17. Get two of the dish same stuff at another location. This is seriously a last resort option. Try the Lebanese place beside it.

Overall experience was horrible. Woman/girl who was taking the orders was sitting there head down on her phone AND clipping her damn finger nails. I have been here when it first opened up but has taken an extreme downward spiral towards being probably one of the worst Thai Express locations in the city. Everything is watered down and they only throw in a couple peices of protein. Definitely not worth the charge for one. Not sure what they are paying for rent in a hospital but they must be getting hosed because their portion sizes went down as well. Either way they don't care because their customer base is tired, sick and overworked staff and patients or worried visitors who just want something to eat and you can tell they are taking full advantage of that fact. Sad but true.

Very cold customer service. When asking for things like peanuts and sriracha for my pad Thai, the reaction from the cashier looked like she’s doing me the biggest favour in the world. Was not asked whether I want it spicy or not. Didn’t have lime as in all normal Thai express locations. Food was bland. Not enough meat. Overpriced. Overall, 2/5.

As someone that works in this hospital I highly dislike this particular Thai express. 1. They pack heavy on cheap carbs and skimp on the veggies and proteins 2. They rush and undercook often 3. Don't clean their wok. Had large black bitter charred flakes on my food. I brought back and the owner said it's black pepper! 4. Lastly they oversalt their food like crazy I have been to many great Thai express locations; however, this one particular branch is really not up to standard.

I came here around 6pm while the cafeteria was empty. The gentleman cooked my food way too fast, under 2mins. I’ve been to other Thai express and they cook your food for at least 5mins. Food had no flavour, bland and stale. I could tell something was off while eating it. Now my stomach hurts

Ordered the pat see ew. Had a lot of expectations. Overall it wasn’t bad but it was salty! My mom couldn’t even finish after a few bites. I ate about 1/3 of it and had to throw out the rest. And this is a hospital to have that much sodium on a simple noodle dish is not acceptable. I understand from other reviews food lacks taste. Adding soy sauce doesn’t make it more flavourful it just packs more salt. And for $17 (no combo) it’s expensive!
