Terroni Sud Forno Produzione e Spaccio (Spaccio East) is a new restaurant in Toronto opened more than 6 months ago.
Within its 16,000 sqft space, Spaccio boasts an open concept central kitchen, a caffè and a well-stocked storefront offering customers a selection of fresh products such as homemade pasta, pasta sauce, desserts, salumi, formaggi and much more made daily to be enjoyed in house or to take home. The storefront will also carry all imported Terroni and Sud Forno products at wholesale prices. As you eat and drink in Spaccio’s two floor dining space, you can watch the kitchen as the bread comes out of the oven, the artisans hand make the pasta and the pastry chef gets busy with the cornetti, bomboloni and other breakfast items that will be made fresh daily.

The food was absolutely amazing—we discovered this restaurant by accident, and what a happy accident it was! We were looking for a place to celebrate our company’s Christmas party on December 23rd, and we got so lucky. Ken, our waiter, made the evening unforgettable with his captivating stories about the history of the place. The open view of the kitchen operation was absolutely fascinating—it felt like dinner and a show! We enjoyed Insalata Caprese, Spaghetti al Limone, Supplì, Tonnarelli alla Norcina, ice cream, and tiramisu—all of which were exceptional. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! You’re officially our new favorite restaurant in town.

Ordered pizza and pasta. Pasta was okay. Pizza was cold, hard and chewy. Sent back and new pizza was warm but not hot and just poured tomato sauce on it was still hard and not good at all. Would not ever come again. Atmosphere was okay. Lots of table and kitchen in centre. Service was okay and not super polite.

We had a delightful Italian dining experience celebrating a friend's birthday! The pizza was scrumptious, and we enjoyed a complimentary Nutella-filled beignet each, complete with a thoughtful candle courtesy of our attentive waiter. The staff's warm hospitality made our evening special. We'll definitely return!

We went for breakfast because it was our last day and we didn't have time to go to lunch, but if we go back to Toronto we will definitely reserve a day to have lunch here because the pizzas looked spectacular!!! This is not just a place to eat, it is an experience to be able to see the workshop in full swing producing!! There are tables inside and there is also a terrace. The pain au chocolat and everything we tried was delicious, and they also have products to take away and consume at home.

We came here for lunch, got to sit on the front patio facing the street. The patio furniture is so comfortable, they have umbrellas to help shade from the sun. Our server was quick and attentive, other staff members were helpful as well. The salad was 10/10 highly recommend, the pastas were also delicious perfectly cooked.

What surprise! The food was excellent. Everything, I mean everything was delicious. What I found very interesting was watching bread being made on the production floor. From where we were seated, I could also see our meals being prepared as the kitchen is on the production floor also and completely visible. Highly recommended for a different experience to have great food without all of the pretentiousness.

We had an outstanding experience at this restaurant, where the incredibly delicious food, excellent service, and fun dining atmosphere made for a memorable visit. The menu offered a variety of mouthwatering dishes that satisfied all our cravings. Loved the margarita, pizza, salmon, salad, salad, and charcuterie! We have to return to try their desserts and coffee!! Beyond the dining experience, the attached grocery store was a delightful surprise, providing fresh food, frozen and ready to go items and charming decor to purchase for home. Whether you're looking for a great meal or unique items to bring home, this restaurant is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

Came here on May 1st, 2024 on a whim after exploring downtown Toronto the entire day. What a hidden gem this was! Our server, Jessica M. was absolutely wonderful, and completely enhanced our experience of this place! Her recommendations were spot on, and she was very accommodating for us! A must try when exploring downtown, their food is exceptional, their mini market right at the entrance, and the kitchen is right below you, making everything smell intoxicating! Can't wait to come back! P.S their fresh sourdough bread makes an amazing sponge to mop up all the delicious sauces their pasta is coated in.
