Terrace On The Green

Book reservations for New Years eve with Friends and all was going well with service, food and atmosphere. Pricing a little higher than similar restaurants like Chop Steakhouse that we booked last year. We all seemed to enjoy the evening until we received the bill with a 30% gratuity automatically added to the tab with no forewarning when we sat down or on the website when we booked online. Totally put a damper on the evening. Needless to say wont be going there ever again.

Having travelled to mississauga to visit family from London, I was in need of a good steak, but was also craving pasta. I found terrace on the green, who’s specialise in Steak, but had a pasta dish on the menu. I made a reservation and visited with my family. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a very warm welcome and free bread was delivered to the table as soon as everyone was seated whilst we decided on our food. I wanted the fettuccine with truffle and beef tenderloin, but wanted the fettuccine changed to rigatoni pasta. The server Isaac, did not hesitate to facilitate my request. The dish was absolutely made to perfection. I also indulged in a filet mignon to die for, absolutely beautifully prepared with a sensational texture, accompanied with the creamiest of mash patatoe. I highly reccommend everyone in the mississauga and Brampton area to visit Terrace on the Green. If anyone is looking for great food, great service and a beautiful setting there is not a better place than Terrace on the green. Izaac, I would like to personally thank you for the service you provided me and my family. To facilitate my rigatoni request which was not even on the menu, I am truly grateful.

Had a fantastic dinner at Terrace on the Green last night! The place nails the cozy yet upscale vibe with its classy decor and welcoming atmosphere. Started with the fresh and tasty Terrace Salad—loved the combination of sweet nuts and tangy feta. The Tomahawk Steak was the highlight: perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness, and the sides (especially the creamy mashed potatoes) were just as impressive. Ended with the molten lava cake, which was a dream for a chocolate lover like me. Service was top-notch throughout the evening, making us feel special without being intrusive. A perfect spot for a memorable meal, highly recommend it!

Stepping into Terrace on the Green, you're greeted by a vibe that's cozy yet classy, with its warm wood tones and soft lighting making you feel right at home. The place has a genuine charm to it, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed, yet upscale dining experience. The staff treats you like royalty from the get-go, making sure you're well taken care of without hovering too much. We kicked things off with the Terrace Salad, a fresh and vibrant starter. The mix of sweet nuts and fruits with the tangy feta and fresh greens was just right – a great opening act that set the bar high for what was to come. The main event was the Tomahawk Steak, and let me tell you, it lived up to the hype. Cooked perfectly medium rare, it was juicy, flavorful, and just melted in your mouth. The sides weren't just afterthoughts either; the roast potatoes were spot on, the mashed potatoes creamy and comforting, and the asparagus was surprisingly sweet – no bitterness at all. Ending on a high note, the molten lava cake was pure bliss. Just the right amount of gooey, it was a chocolate lover's dream come true. But what really made the night special was the feeling you got being there. Terrace on the Green has a way of making a meal feel like an occasion, thanks to its heartwarming setting and top-notch service. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why going out for dinner is so much more than just eating – it's about enjoying every moment. Which is great because now I have a place to host events from private dinners to large social gatherings with their well-appointed indoor and outdoor spaces.

While I appreciate the ambiance of the location, like the outdoor grounds being beautiful and offering a great backdrop for photos, I found the restaurant to be average overall. I think the Keg as an example is better as a comparison... I appreciated having our coats taken when we first entered and the table setting was nicely set. However, beyond that, the food wasn't anything special, and if anything, I think it's overpriced based on the portions.

Peaceful ambience. Great and professional servers. Prices are moderate and worth every single penny. Love their Wagyu bites and Australian Lamb. Reservation is recommended.
