Tenon Vegetarian Cuisine

At first I didn’t think much of a “vegetarian sushi restaurant”.. but this restaurant is something else - I keep coming back and my order is always the same. Spicy Broccoli rolls and Tenon Special Roll. So so good. I’ve tried other items on the menu and refined down to these two rolls being the absolute best. Everything here is made in well balanced proportions, the atmosphere is quiet - it’s not a ruckus even on holidays. The quality of sushi is 5/5, service is great too however one improvement to be made is checking in with guests a bit more such as refilling water etc - pls don’t let that discourage you from trying the restaurant at least once, you will be hooked as everything tastes so good! It’s hard to believe you’re having vegetarian sushi and the A La Carte option leaves you wishing this place was All You Can Eat. Must try, the drive here is worth it.

This is a hidden gem if you are vegetarian and would like to taste sushi rolls. Secondly their rolls are $5. So ordering 3 rolls will be filling. For 2 people. In the economy we live, this is a very value buy. Thirdly they are fast. place an order and you will see in your table in less than 5 mins. Fourth, great taste. We have gone here more than 20 times. My kids love this place for all the above reasons. Real hidden gem.

This was my first time trying a vegan sushi place. And this place did not disappoint. We ordered Miso Soup, Edamame, Avocado Sushi, Broccoli Sushi, Soy Chicken Katsu, Soy Olive Fried Rice, Spring Rolls, California Roll, Tsao's Soy Chicken, Chocolate cake and Coconut Cake. Everything was amazing, but the Broccoli rolls and Chocolate Eggless Cake were show stoppers. Bringing friends back here.

Japanese food so very well veganized..! Ordered Dragon Roll and Fried Pineapple Rice, and they both were delicious. Finally, found that place where we can try all sushi varieties in the menu..

Delicious and fresh vegan food. Recommend the shrimp tempura, dynamite roll, sushi pizza, and green dragon roll. Loved the bottomless green tea pot provided to the table!

If you want and need Japanese -style vegetarian meals, this is the place. Great tasty sushi, sashimi, bento boxes and more. Visited again for Gold Dragon roll.

Very interesting experience. This is a mom and pop shop. The sushi was good but the rice was cold. The portions are also very small for the price you pay. We got 6 dishes for 4 people and we were not close to being full. But overall, a good experience and good tasting food.

Vegetarian for the Carnivore!!! I tend to be a lover of different types of food. As a 'Foodie', I think the only requirement is that you must have a passion and love for food in general. I love meat but I'm always looking for new food adventures. Tenon Vegetarian Cuisine is right in my backyard and I've almost gone a few times. I finally went recently to a family gathering in which we had vegetarians and vegans in our group. The food at Tenon is very well thought out. They really have got a handle on the food they design. I've had mock meats and plant-based meat alternatives before and for the most part enjoy vegetarian and vegan food. I enjoyed most of the food offerings and some more than others. The service was great and we had no trouble getting a private room for our group. The plates were cleaned almost as soon as the food dropped, as we were sharing most of the dishes. I was lucky to get at least a couple of photos before the food disappeared. We really liked Tenon's take on animal and fish proteins and we will surely be back. If you're a vegetarian or vegan or even just curious, give it a shot I'm sure you will like the food too.
