June 2024 Not a fancy place (inside or out), but the prices are cheap, the restaurant is clean, and the service was fast. A hugh menu. This place has probably been here a long time as there was a constant number of customers eating in the restaurant, and they were busy with takeout orders. Would definitely return here for another meal.

Delicious food and amazing service. Staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. Portions were huge. Restaurant itself is a little outdated but it adds to the charm.

Amazing food and excellent service. This family-run business makes food that really hits the spot. My wife is a huge fan of the fried noodles and I love the chicken wings! Will be back again soon!

They're one of my favorite Asian restaurants around , I'm taking out cause it's close to my place, their foods are good, the prices are really reasonable and the staff are very welcoming , also fast which is a very good point , my favorite dishes are fried fish on fried rice and chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce.... recommend

Tender trap is a STAPLE in the area. Nothing bad on the menu. I've probably tried everything now. They're also super friendly and give off a warm family vibe. Eating a dish from tender trap is like being transported back to a time when Chinese food meant something different and despite how much the neighborhood has changed around them, they've stayed true to who they are and what they do well: Providing affordable food and outstanding value to the families of Cabbagetown, st James town and beyond.

November 2024: Dinner for three and a satisfying one at that. The 2025 calender was a nice touch. I happened to need one. *** Fairly new having replaced Westown at the same location. Clean interior with comfy booths. Dinner for 4 arrived quickly on a Thursday night. Polite delivery person. Overall clean tasting food bordering on bland but well worth ordering again. Yes the portions to cost are respectful. We particularly liked the ribs. Included hot sauce on the side for the crispy, moist chicken wings adds the required zing.
