Bread is frozen then microwaved and comes to the table wet. $40 steak is half an inch thick and they give you a butter knife to cut it. Service was friendly but not good.

I made the mistake of trying the hotel restaurant! We ordered the ‘firecracker calamari’ and the margarita pizza. Presentation was perfect, however, the food lacked everything these two items stand for. The pizza crust was the consistency of a microwaved pizza and unfortunately the calamari was the consistency of a wet shoe. Save yourself the $60 this came to and go across the road to the fast food burger joint.

This is a great little restaurant that exceeded all my expectations. My server, Amit gracefully provided service for my dinner and made delicious recommendations. Amit was also an excellent mixologist and made one heck of a bloody cesar with my chosen liquor. Hope to return soon.

Tony is probably one of the absolute best bartenders I’ve ever come across he is so accommodating! Respectful! And totally an awesome experience all around. He will take care of you top to bottom and you will feel taken care of completely!!! Thank you Tony! You made my stay that much more enjoyable we extremely appreciate it!!

This venue is great with an outdoor patio and indoor space to hold private events! We hosted two events and our guests loved it. The place looks fantastic in photos. Great service and attention to detail provided by Richard and his staff. This is my choice of venue for future events!

We enjoyed a great Valentines dance at the Taza Grill& Bar located within the Doubletree Hotel on Dixie rd, Miss last night. Denzil Miranda - General Manager of the hotel was a very pleasant , professional and made sure everyone was having a great evening. He took the time to spend a few minutes in every table ensuring things were going well. The music by Music Machine was fantastic with some great songs from yesterday years which brought back fond memories for our entire group. The food was absolutely delicious with great presentation and the service was excellent. Keep it up Denzil and Team. Will be back for sure soon.

TAZA GRILL + BAR 5444 Dixie Road My stay at the hotel was over 3 days so I had the pleasure of 3 tasty breakfast, 3 amazing lunches, and one very sorry/rude take out. The last night i had a headache and just wanted take out for my room. It was seat yourself so i chose a seat in the walkway where I'd easily be seen. Servers and bartender saw me sit down. They walked around me for close to 20 mins before Robert stopped by my table to ask if I wanted something. I ordered the nachos, extra sour cream and triple chocolate cheesecake from their online menu. He wrote everything down and walked away. When he brought the bag, I saw a vanilla cheesecake on the bill, as well as it was $16, not the $10 posted online. When I asked him what this was, he said they didnt have the chocolate one i ordered. I asked him to please take it off the bill. If its not available, then thats fine. He handed me the menu and told me (didnt ask me) to just pick something else. I glanced it over and said no, not really interested in anything else. He grabbed the bag and walked away. When he came back, he dropped the bill and walked away, realizing he'd forgotten the bag. He dropped it on the table and walked away. I tried to catxh his eye when i was done filling it out but he just completely ignored me. Note: You don't substitute something without asking and then get cross when a customer doesn't want it. I still tipped 20% for the rudeness. Hope he night got better. I have to say, this is the sorriest take out order of nachos I've seen in a long time. Picture attached. Cheese is burnt for what little cheese there is. Server didn't include the extra sour cream. I can't say there was no toppings, but I expected more than 1 small diced piece of tomato, 2 olive slices, and 1 slice of jalapeño. The guacamole was 2 slices of avocado stuffed into the container with some lime juice. $15 plus tip As for breakfast, Alina was absolutely wonderful and attentive. The buffet has been delicious. The French toast was marvelous. So if you're ever staying at the Hilton Doubletree in Mississaga, get the buffet. $18.00 tip generously. We're going to make the drive from Cambridge one weekend! Lunches with Alina (and her polish counterpart) were fantastic. I posted pics of lunches below. The steak sandowxh was better than my chef husband makes. Lovely place to eat. Just stay away from dinner!!
