Tawa Kitchen- Best Indian Punjabi Restaurant in North York

Dilmeet was a pleasure to work with as he guided me through every step of planning my daughter's birthday party, which had about 60 guests. He offered valuable advice to finalize the menu and carefully managed the quantity and tray sizes for the order. Confident in the quality of his food, he even invited me to visit his restaurant for a tasting. The food provided was more than sufficient for around 70 guests, and everyone appreciated its quality. The tandoori momos and paneer pakoras were crowd-favorite appetizers, and the side dishes for roti and naan were spot on. Dilmeet also included some complimentary items, which was a nice touch. He kept me updated throughout the preparation process and delivered the food on time. The pricing was very reasonable considering the excellent quality and quantity. I highly recommend Dilmeet and Tawa Kitchen for any catering needs

I drank Casher milk it was very sweet and delicious. Really enjoyed the outstanding service and Tami served me! Her service was friendly very gentle and communicative. Enjoyed this beautiful restaurant.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience at Tawa Kitchen in North York! The vegetable thali was absolutely delicious, packed with authentic Punjabi flavors, and the portion size was perfect. The food tasted fresh, and you can tell it’s made with love. A special shoutout to Dilmeet for the warm and friendly service – it made the meal even more enjoyable! If you’re looking for the best Indian Punjabi food in the area, this place is a must-try. I can’t wait to come back!

Place is an absolute dump inside. Went to pick up my order and it still wasn't ready nearly half an hour after it was placed despite the place being empty. The 2 guys working there couldn't be any slower, guess they couldn't be bothered to prep the kitchen for lunch... Any quality restaurant would've fired them for how slowly they worked, the restaurant industry is supposed to be fast paced. Lazy staff, dirty interior, and mediocre food, do not recommend.

"I ordered a meal that was supposed to be fresh and satisfying, but what I received was far from it. The bread was burnt, making it dry and tough to eat, while the chickpeas lacked flavor and looked hastily thrown together. For the price, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. Very disappointing experience."

My friend and I ordered about $30 worth of food and were completely taken aback by how much came out . It is very well priced and the portions are large. The food itself was great; the butter chicken was aromatic and flavourful and everything came out piping hot. The only downside was the restaurant itself is warm so we were sweating a bunch but it won’t affect you if you’re doing takeout or grabbing food in the winter. The customer service was top notch. Will definitely be coming back, especially for their samosas!!

Very nice place. They stayed until midnight to make sure that we were fed. We were driving back from Oakville and all restaurants were closed. The owner and her son made sure we did not go hungry.
