Today I picked up food for a family get together for my sons birthday.I had ordered carne alentejana and bifanas two days before ….also picked from the daily menu alcatra with mushrooms ,two chickens rice and potatoes ,it was all so delicious everyone complimented on how good everything tasted …Thank you so much 🙂

If you ever wondered if there is any restaurant in the whole of GTA which provides the best bang for your buck , when it comes to both quantity as well as quality? This is it. I bought a double steak plate for $19 , which effectively can feed an entire family. Tremendous value for money , great tasting dishes all around. Can't rate this any lower than 5.

This place has excellent selection of meats and seafood...including sea snails. Not easy to find.

Used to be "decent", a quick "blend" food, but has gone from decent to terrible (hence why there is not even lines anymore). Only sell half chicken or whole chicken, no quarters anymore, if you ask for a quarter chicken you risk getting kicked-out or worse. Portions used to be big (reason it had line up, despite the blend food), but portions has shrinked and price gone up. Would you pay $9 for 3 halfs of boiled potato & 2 strips of dry beef stew? (see picture)

Good food. Pretty good prices too. But for some reason they don't have a takeout menu or a sign to show you prices or food combinations. Makes you feel weird about asking about their takeout dishes or specials every time you visit. Staff is not really that helpful in that area either. Only suggest sizes of dishes/takeout, but not what is included in the dish. Again, forcing you to have to ask. lol.
