Tasty Hunan Cuisine

I have ordered many times at this restuaruant cuz this is only one I can taste my hometown food. The food taste has been worse and worse while price has doubled over time. and I have been waiting for over half an hour past the due time to grab my food. Very disappointed!

New renovation. Clean restroom. Fresh ingredient食材新鲜. Very spicy and Hunan 湖南 authentic. Service is fine. Can be busy and slow. Very Clean environment. Have multiple payment methods. Price is reasonable with only 10% tip. Recommend to those who like spicy!

The food quality is excellent! But the most impressive thing is the servants are very friendly and responsible, they won’t shirk responsibilities from the criticism and keep improving their foods and others. They have attracted me to invite my friends to visit there again, and did more better!

There are food safety issues! I used to love this restaurant. Ordered three dishes today. The last dish (on the pic) smelled like rotten when it was served. We were immediately disgusted and could not continue eating. After we spoke to the waitress, she stated that she could only refund this one dish and there was no other solution. During conversations, the waitresses seemed impatient, interrupting, and avoiding problems by suddenly walking off somewhere else. After the waitress talked to the owner, they refused to offer any more solution! Would not recommend anyone to come!!!!

While I wouldn't say the taste is the same as what you get in China or HK, it is pretty close. The dishes taste great but its on the salty side so it's best enjoyed with rice or some form of carb. The service was very good, even when the place seem a bit undermanned. No problem for my kids who can't take spice, just tell them to exclude them (not sure if every dish is possible though). Will visit again.

Came for lunch today on recommendation of my friend. We had the house specialty BBQ fish 烤魚 with the fresh chili sauce. Delicious! Spice level was just right. Great service- really appreciated the recommendation on the sauce so the spice level wouldn’t overwhelm us. During our lunch we noticed a steady flow of food delivery guys. Clearly a popular spot. Highly recommended!

Update: we went for a quick dinner with low expectations. Surprisingly, the food is pretty decent. I remembered to request the dishes with less salt and grissy. Only one waitress is working, so the service is fairly slow. One thing to note that they pre-charge tips on the bill. Somehow, their system isn't very good with calculation. We found errors on the bill and had them correct it. Please make sure to double-check and not pay the service charge twice. A year ago: Worst experience ever. We ordered the hot pot fish. It took forever to come out. When we checked on the status, the waitress was so impatient and gave us craps. It made us feel that we troubled her so much by eating there. Defitinately, I've never seen a service like this before. The overall quality of food and service go downhill here. The food was also a disappointment. Very salty. I'm not pleased at all.
